Yep, my problem is that the join/gap identified in the original instructions doesn't appear to be present on my wife's car.

My partner's Yeti (60reg 2 litre diesel 4x4) has started leaking diesel into the driveway just inboard of the nearside front wheel. For the past month or so, she's been experiencing an intermittent hesitation from the engine when driving. Any ideas as to possible source? Is the fuel pump a likely culprit? The lights which illuminates the speedo needle on my Yeti flickers on and off, sometimes staying off for a few seconds. I guess it must be a dodgy connection. Do I have to remove the entire dashboard to investigate? Thanks. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Thanks for the offers/advice guys. Very much appreciated - especially the "how to" by KBPhoto. Going the MFSW route seems too involved, to be honest. I'll probably stick with the standard leather wheel swap - it's just the hard plastic on the standard one I don't like.
