Updates on my issues.. I went in the garage for dpf assessment and told me that couldn’t do it because the turbo actuator doesn’t work. Found the part brand new for £135 and went back to replace it for £230 labour. They told me the dpf regen perfectly fine and after a 15 mins motorway run the particles went down a lot. regarding the oil temperature mechanics couldn’t find anything. Now the weather is warmer and oil temperature stays between 75-85 and rarely goes to 90 and above 90. Haven’t seen 90 degrees for the past 6-7 months probably because it was cold. all good but recently realised the air condition doesn’t work properly, I regenerate with gas, worked 1 months only. When I turn on the air conditioner I can hear hissing sound inside, maybe a leak. Not many garages want to fix it and probably will be pretty expensive it depends of the leak location..

Does anybody know why I cant erase the codes? The car is in ignition and the engine is off..

I just ordered the car code reader from Amazon to delete the error. In the next couple of days when my tank is almost empty, I will put the DPF cleaner, fill tank with Shell V Power and drive on the motorway on second and third gear at around 4000rpm. Also will do couple of accelerations from a junction and see if there is any improvement! will even see if the oil temp goes above 80 degrees

I will contact Skoda UK and ask them.. don’t have a spare tyre neither any stickers. the car is at 140,000 miles and used only 5w 30 FS which is recommended from VW

I booked an appointment to do an assessment of the DPF on 1st of February. Oil temp shows over 50*oC after approximately 4-5 miles but even after 30 minutes driving it is still between 70-75.

Checked with the VIN of the car and shows the car is not affected!

Ok I will try that but the issue is because the car is in a safety/limp mode doesn’t have good acceleration/power and will be hard to drive fast on low gears. Even on the motorway is hard to accelerate over 60mph unless is in downhill.

I meant to write 50 grams out of 80.. so it is a bit more than half. The guy in the garage told me that they never go to a maximum of 80 and at some point need to be cleaned.. Before the dpf system was regenerating more often than now. On Monday will go to a DPF cleaner garage and will let you know

How much approximately is the filter to be removed, cleaned and installed again? I live in Newcastle, UK

Before the oil temperature was between 85-95 but now is between 70-75.. The Air conditioner is on all the time so don’t know if there is any relationship..

The car have 6 gears manual transmission, Greenline model. There were hundreds of really good reviews in different websites..

Hello, have a Skoda Octavia 2014 1.6 diesel. When I bought the car 4 years ago the oil temperature was always between 85-90.. For the past couple of months it is between 70-75.. is that an issue and what could it be? Also for the past month the car doesn’t have good power, start/stop and cruise control don’t work. Went to the garage and the diagnostic showed the DPF bank 1 is blocked. They told me to drive on the motorway on a lower gear for 20 mins but it didn’t work at all. Then bought from Eurocarparts Wynns DPF cleaner. Put it in the fuel tank and since then I drove 300 miles and still no improvement at all. so many positive reviews about the DPF cleaner that it actually works and clean the filter. any suggestions please?

The first time I selected Passat (MIB2) and it didn't work.. now with the Golf until 2015 (MIB1) is fine and the 8GB SD card is enough as well! Thank you

Yes my SD card number starts with 5E0 and is 8GB. I downloaded the Europe Bundle 1 map because was only 6GB and whole Europe was 16GB. I unarchiver and inside are 2 folders: EEC and 00. I paste them in the SD card and when I inserted in my car doesn't work. Did I do anything wrong, Any ideas?
