  2. Cheers for your interesting information mate, battery seems fine,but my car was brand new on October 2023 I've had one software update from them,I don't know if maybe I've missed any don't think so ,, as you can guess to this fault is doing my head in lol ,, thankyou for your reply

Cheers mate,,, I know what you mean by properly cranking, letting the system boot it's self up before the start procedure,,I've tried that a more than I could count as its a taxi been on the road a lot ,,I've tried cleaning the sensors, the error comes on and off like a Christmas tree.iam starting to think it's a wire that's not properly seated right in a connection,, goes into Skoda on the 5th march,, hopefully it will be fixed then

Hello everyone, Id be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction,, for weeks I've had this warning light come up ( parking distance control) it's very intermitted comes go goes like a Christmas tree,, I've tryd cleaning the rear sensors nothing works, it went off for a full week then it's back, I've noticed the sensors do work sometimes then nothing, any help much appreciated.my car is a 2023 Octavia
  6. I personally wouldn't have concerns on a high mileage skoda ... but if its got a say over 150k .. I'd be looking for a full oil changes every 10-13k intervals... my 2017 skoda octavia 1.6 diesel is now on 237k with no engine work needed still has the same clutch since new .but for the last year I've started to use only shell v power diesal... no dpf issues.. 1st set of drop links at 210k. Alternator at 133k..new heater motor at 164k ...front struts have been done ..1 rear shocker.. front bonnet latch. Rear boot latch and just routine servicing runs like a train it does well I hope this give people some point were to go on a high mileage skoda .
  7. I've owned a 2017 1.6 diesel.. since brand new .. its now got 227k miles.. full skoda service history.. never had a problem.. no dpf issues the engine is just bloody brilliant
  8. Hi.guys hope someone can help me here what direction to go... I've got a p2000 below threshold bank 1 code come up ... car drives absolutely fine .. it does 40miles a day on a motorway everyday ..regenerates at its normal intervals...never had dpf issues since owned from new if any one could give me.some pointers here would be much appreciated..thanks paul

Hi people Wondering if anybody knows how to open my bonnet, the cable is still attached to the release handle in the footwell, its tight closed no movement from it at all,, the release handle is very loose,, for months I have been sprayin the bonnet latch with wd40 as its been gummed up,, but I've left it to late now it's not opening at all,, I need it open as it's a taxi going for its test on Tuesday.
