2017 octavia bonnet not opening

Hi people 

Wondering if anybody knows how to open my bonnet, the cable is still attached to the release handle in the footwell, its tight closed no movement from it at all,, the release handle is very loose,, for months I have been sprayin the bonnet latch with wd40  as its been gummed up,, but I've left it to late now it's not opening at all,, I need it open as it's a taxi going for its test on Tuesday.
