  1. Was driving me up the wall! Ended up buying brembo pads which will go on this weekend, I'll just check there is no play either side before using them.
  2. Yep turns out the noise it poorly fitting pads! Time to go back to ECP and get some Pagid ones now! Anyone know if I'm able to return the Eicher ones as the fitment is correct online but is clearly too small.
  3. Hi All, I changed my brake pads at the weekend and all seemed to go fine, but now I have a knocking noise coming from the front of the car when going over bumps or when turning, I assume it's a suspension noise (as it seems to be in that area) so my first thought was the bushes have gone as I had this on a previous car. Anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing it's nothing to do with my brakes but thought it's worth mentioning just in case. Any help massively appreciated.
  4. Thanks all for helping, picking up some 340mm from eurocarparts today. I'm currently trying to sell my car so not too worried about the quality. Although in the current climate looks like I'll have it a while Anyone had a bad experience with eicher? I know they were fine on my old corsa I had but that was slightly less demanding Tried my local TPS a while back but they don't sell to the public, I know it seems to depend on the branch if they do or not.
  5. Hi All, I have a late 2015 Octavia VRS TDI, just had an MOT and service at Skoda and I've been told I need front brake pads (At a cost of £250) Having a look on eurocarparts and I can get a pair for the front for around £50 so told them I'd do it myself (luckily my father-in-law is pretty handy) Just wondering what size pads I need? I assume I have the 340mm discs as they look pretty beefy. Cheers
