How do I re set the DSG? Yes maybe a duff battery. Waiting for Skoda service to call.

Tried that, and has still stalled, its like it looked all power.

Hi Yes it want if for just coolant change as this apparently is the recall process. After leaving the dealership it tempreture gauge increassed as it did before so i called and immediately they had the car back and replaced the water pump. Apparently there is a slider on top of the pump that gets clogged up so it wont open. Yes the stalling issue has only becoming a problem since it had been in. I know they will think im making it up but its the truth. Seems to do it in reverse more than in forward gear. Will call them this morning to see what is what. Must say on a positive note. Other than these niggles, The car is Fantastic, and the dealer up to now has also been brilliant, will see what the next outcome is. Thank you

Hi, After getting the cooling issue sorted with a warranty claim of a water pump i finally got my car back and starts to enjoy it again. However i now have an issue of the car stalling. This happens mainly when reversing off my drive way, as I stop the car drops revs and stalls. It will then advise to start manually. After that car seems fine. Done it about 3 or 4 times last week, is this common or do I need to get it back in at the dealer. Any help or advice would be great, like my tempreture issue, its always good to go in armed with some knowledge. Thanks Andy

My 1.4 tdi was exacly the some. Took it in to skoda this morning and a recall has been carried out. Complete flush of the cooling system and a programme update. Very common, may need to replace water pump too. The dealer were brilliant. Updating me every 3-4 hours. First class.

Has anyone ever noticed the temperature gauge doing weird things? On my commute this morning I was in the motor way, when the needle rapidly increased to nearly 130 degrees. Almost immediately it then started to drop and settled back at 90 degrees. Very bizarre but for one min thought I was in trouble. Is a faulty sensor common? Any advice would be great. Car is a late 2015 1.4 diesel dsg and it's my first ever skoda. It really is an amazing car, I love every thing about it. Thanks in advance Andy

Managed to find out that a cam belt change is due at either 5 years or 140,000 miles can you believe.

Hi. I have just purchased a fabia 1.4 tdi dsg late 2015. The dealer has no idea if it's a chain driven engine or belt. Also if it's a belt, what the interval should be. The car has done 29,000 miles. Thank.you.
