Ianmcd Hi Ian Did you manage to resolve the issue of your door lock, I seem to have the same issues you have with my drivers door lock, I can open the door from the passenger seat, and I can lock the drivers door with the key - but not unlock it with the key, the key turns ok but does not seem to connect to anything. My issue seem to start when the car was in for an MOT, when I went to pick the car up, I could not unlock the driver's door and I had to open it through from the passenger side, I have a feeling that when they drove it out of the workshop and parked it they tried to lock it with the door open by pushing down the inside door button, and maybe used to much force and damaged something in the mechanism, as us owners know there is resistance stopping us from locking the door this way. I spoke to the garage about this and was assured they had locked with the key. Anyway I belief I have the same issue as you had and would like to hear from you (or anyone else) if you have resolved the problem. My car is a Fabia 1.4 Classic petrol 2002 with 100k miles, manual doors and windows (no central locking) Thanks Graham
