Correct Rear Wiper for Karoq Sportline 2023
That’s very useful information, worth noting for future reference. It is a pity that Bosch have not updated their UK web site to include this wiper. Strange, that when searching the internet for the A335H, all photos of this blade show the old fitting, probably a stock photo of the previous blade as the sellers do not have up to date pictures? I myself am quite happy with the Heyner blade I purchased from Amazon, it has performed well and we have had some heavy frosts and lots of rain recently.

Correct Rear Wiper for Karoq Sportline 2023
I too was looking for a replacement rear wiper for my facelift Karoq as the original OEM wiper was terrible. I was hoping Bosch had a direct replacement, but as others have discovered Bosch do not appear to have manufactured such a wiper. It appears that numerous VW Group cars have the same rear wiper so I searched the internet and found a Kodiaq wiper on Amazon that fits the facelift Karoq wiper arm. The wiper is manufactured by Heyner, though it comes in a plain package, and appears to be as good as the Bosch wipers without any noise or juddering when operating.

Front Mudflaps
All I can say is that on my SEL both sets of front mudflaps fit with the centre securing hole aligning correctly (the other two fixing holes you have to drill yourself). Not sure about other variants, perhaps they are different, however the brochure would suggest that the front mudflaps fit all variants?

Front Mudflaps
I’m afraid I cannot check the thickness of the two sets of mudflaps as I have returned one set for a refund, but when examining them I couldn’t see any difference. That said, if you look at the Karoq accessory brochure you will see that the mudflaps are designed to stop short of the wheelarch trim, obviating the need for them to sit flush.

Front Mudflaps
It’s the angle of the camera, I can assure you that they are both the same. I have the plastic trims on my car and I offered both types of mudflaps up to the car and the profile matched exactly on both.

Front Mudflaps
The latest Karoq Accessory Brochure states the part number for front mudflaps is: 57A 075 111 for cars WITH plastic wheel arch extensions 57A 075 111(A) for cars WITHOUT plastic wheel arch extensions Have a look at the photos, can you spot the difference, I certainly cannot. I have measured the best I can and both mudflaps are exactly the same size as far as I can tell, both front and back. The fixing holes are in the same location, even the lug is the same size and in exactly the same position (photo angle is a bit misleading showing lugs at a different angle, but they are exactly the same). I have even offered both mudflaps up to the front wing and the moulding is the same on both. Why then do Skoda advise different part numbers?

Karoq Order
I ordered a 1.5 DSG SEL, with a number of extras, on 14 March. The car was built week 23 and is currently sitting in Emden Port awaiting export to Sheerness, where, dock workers are currently being balloted to take industrial action for a pay rise (result of ballot 21 July). Given the reported backlog/delays being experienced at Emden and the possible industrial action at Sheerness I can foresee that I, and many others, could be waiting sometime for our new vehicles!

Dog guard C pillar holes.
I had a similar problem but found these on eBay. The grey plug is quite a good match for the C pillar, the seller also has black plugs for lower trims. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30mm-x-25mm-Hole-Plugs-Plastic-Blanking-Masking-Finishing-Inserts-Grey-/222247908622

MY21 Changes
I have just recently replaced my 2018 Karoq SE L 150 TSi DSG with the same MY21 model with the addition of a Digital Cockpit and heated windscreen. Thus far I have noticed the following changes to the spec. Gone are: The DSG paddles on the steering wheel The SD slots on the Infotainment unit The 2 small LED lights in the overhead consul 2 of the 4 hooks on the rails in the boot The torch The elasticated hook which helps retain the boot floor in the upright position Whats new are: 19" Crater wheels 2 spoke steering wheel with revised push button layout MIB3 Infotainment system USB C ports replacing the older USB A ports Different stitch pattern on Alcantara seats SOS button in overhead consul With regard to the 19" Crater wheels, which are shod with Bridgestone tyres, the jury's still out at the moment. I am finding the ride a bit harsh and the tyre noise is louder than the 18" Michelins that were on my previous Karoq. Also, I shall need to be careful when parking near a kerb as there is little or no protection for the rims. As for the new MIB3 Infotainment system, it appears to be the same hardware with just a change of software (perhaps in the upcoming facelift the Infotainment unit might get changed to that which is now being provided in the Kamiq and Octavia?) Whatever, I am gradually getting my head around the new system. The one downside with is that with the loss of the SD card slots there does not appear to be a way of importing your own POI's e.g. safety cameras. The POI's which are inbuilt are great if you wish to find a hotel/type of restaurant etc as there are numerous of these on the system. You can manually search for POI's direct from the system, as it is always connected, alas safety cameras are not on the database. If someone has found a way of importing their own POI's perhaps they could share it? The map itself is nice and clear but due to current restrictions I have not been able to drive too far to check out different locations etc. I have noticed that the information on the map is not being updated regularly, for the map continues to show roadworks which I know were removed some 2 weeks ago. If updates are this slow then it could affect someone who is reliant on route guidance to reach somewhere as they could be diverted miles off their original route in order to get around a problem which is not actually present! The Digital Cockpit is really good, the trouble is that there are so many combinations of display I keep changing them to see which one I prefer the best. No doubt I will settle for one particular display eventually. One thing I have learnt and that it doesn't appear that you can have the map on both the cockpit screen and the main screen (not that you would probably want to), you have to have one or the other. I have actually had the opportunity to use the heated windscreen and I can say that it works very well. The screen has no visible wires unlike previous versions. Overall I remain impressed with the new Karoq and I thoroughly enjoying driving it.

VED rates
That’s true, however, I only paid £215 first year VED because I kept the car within the 150 g/km limit by not having the protection pack fitted. Had I had it fitted the first year VED would have been £540 because the emissions would have increased by 1 point taking it up into the next tax band.

VED rates
Did you by any chance include any options when ordering your car? The reason I ask is that I nearly got caught out when adding the protection pack to my car at the dealers. Having configured my car at home I noted the CO2 figure was 150 g/km, however, when the salesman produced the order form for me check the VED figure was showing the car in the next tax band I.e. £540 per year. We discovered that by adding the protection pack to my configuration it added 1 point to the CO2 figure making the output 151 g/km, effectively making the cost of the £200 protection pack, £525. When removed the output went back down to 150 g/km. As a consequence I decided it would be cheaper to buy the protection pack parts after the car arrived. When back Home I tried the configurator and found that by adding things like the wheel arch protectors/spare wheel/protection pack added 1 point to the output figure in certain configurations. I was wondering, did you add an option and not notice the change in the CO2 figure?
