  1. Thats brilliant, thank you for the reply.
  2. Afternoon, just a quick question. currently running a 2018 5 seat kodiaq which came with a boot liner included, part number - (565061163A). On tuesday i am picking up a Sportline 7 seat but majority of the time it will be left as a 5 seater. It does list different part numbers for the 7 seat boot liner, but just wondering if the liner i have would fit the newer car when left as a 5 seat? Don’t know if anyone has tried this or knows if i’d need to order a different boot liner or be able to use the one in my current car? Thanks.
  3. Thank you for the reply. I’ll have a check of that when i get chance to see if it just needs a bit of sealant as opposed to a new gasket.
  4. Good evening, i believe the gasket on my rear wiper motor is leaking as i am getting a trail of water running up the inside of the tailgate glass when i fully open the boot. Does anyone know the part number of this item, (No.4 on pic) and can it be changed without removing the wiper motor or does the motor need to come out to replace the gasket. Thank you.
  5. I have tried this before on my 2018 se but didn’t have much joy. The bulbs I tried were great at lighting the interior of the car, but when the car was locked the bulbs wouldn’t fully go out, even after rechecking the car about 1.5 hours later they were still glowing dimly. Bulbs were canbus friendly but I just ended up putting the old bulbs back in. Not sure if the way round it is to change the full light unit for a LED unit, they are listed on eBay at the moment, just not sure if the connectors are the same.
  6. I have a 2018 SE and have fitted one to my front passenger seat. I used a company called Scuderia car parts, they actually list the part numbers for a Bentley. The only part i didnt fit was the fabric cover over the bracket but the bracket is that low down on the back of the seat you don’t notice it. The part numbers i ordered are shown on the photo.
  7. Thanks for the info. Guy at my work said he has an Autel Maxisys MS906 which he will lend me, and he has checked it has the epb function for kodiaq, so all good! Thanks.
  8. Sorry for jumping in on this topic, I need to replace my rear brake pads, 2018 1.4Tsi, and won’t be able to get hold of a code reader/scanner in time that puts the epb in service mode so that the piston can be squeezed back in. Has anybody changed the rear pads by using the method of removing the motor off the caliper and using a ratchet to wind the parking brake off manually? Thanks.
  9. Good afternoon, wonder if anyone has came across this before. Have just changed the interior 501 bulbs to LED ones as i thought the ones fitted were poor. The LED ones are a massive improvement, but just noticing that when you lock the car they are glowing slightly. The ones i ordered said they were canbus error free, which i presume means they have a built in resistor. Have left the car for about 15 mins now and it looks like they’re still glowing away. Not sure if they will sit glowing away all night and drain the battery although i imagine the current that is required to light them is minimal. The bulbs were just off ebay. Any ideas?
  10. That’s great, thanks for the link there. Had a look at some on google but a lot of them were minimum order quantities. The link you gave me looks like just what I need. Thanks again.
  11. Hi, wonder if anyone can help with this. I have a 2018 kodiaq 5 seat, which has at some stage, had the skoda dog guard fitted that required the holes drilled in the c pillar trim, to access the mounting points in the body. The guard has been removed but there is now a hole each side in the c pillar trim. Does anyone know of any blanking plugs that are suitable for this? I have tried local dealer but they are only saying new trims would be required, and they don’t do any plugs. Thank you.
  12. Hi, i have a 2018 Superb est SE and i spec’d the privacy glass at order. I personally think it looks good, really suits the car and the colour i chose (petrol blue). Looks quite dark from the outside looking in and you struggle to see in the car, but from inside looking out theres not much difference from the front windows. Really good car, so smooth and quiet on motorways, its the 1.4tsi that i have. Not the quickest but more than ample for what i need it for and even when fully loaded it doesnt struggle. Boot is enormous, still amazes me how much stuff you can keep loading into it, we’re just back from a week at center parcs and it swallowed all our luggage (2 adults 1 child) with ease. Photo attached of car, kind of shows the tinted rear glass if its any help.
  13. Well, after my Superb just turned one year old and its a nice day i thought i would re-apply some bilt hamber double speed wax as it was coming up on 10 months since i last gave it a coat of this. Well pleased with the result, car looks great, just a few more stone chips and scratches noticed since i last did it!
  14. I've heard a knock a few times from NSF suspension that only appears when going over speed bumps in my 2018 superb. Havent had chance to look yet but car will be due its service shortly so will get them to look over it whilst in. Have read various stories of the suspension transport wedges being left in from new which can cause various creaks/knocks whilst driving.
  15. Mine hasn’t worked for 30 days now! Was tempremtal at the best of times but now just doesnt work at all!
