How are you getting on with the '6 now it has a few miles under its belt?
I'd like to know this too please...
My 6 Sport 185 arrives in a couple of weeks...

I need the P/No. for the Skoda Badge on the Pre-F/L Grilles - can anyone help please?
Also, require the part number for the Engine Cover Clips on a PD170 vRS
My car ends is life with me within a month, and i need to refit the engine covers and a chrome grille before it goes....
Cheers

Does anyone who has fitted these to the lower grill thought about the possibility of needing to whip them trim off to access the towing eye point?
Or have you left enough slack etc to allow the trim to be removed easily and positioned out of the way in the event of needing a tow?

Sorry to sound dumb, as i haven't looked, but...
Is the Facelfit vRS definitely available to order yet?
Mine is due for replacement pretty sharpish, and need to order a replacement car by the 24/08 - my car provider is currently giving me prices for the pre-facelift (can tell by the options, no xenons with AFS, no MF Steering wheel, etc)
I can't get an idea as to whether the facelift is a viable option as the prices i'm getting aren't for it! haha
Maybe its my provider lapsing a little and not being up to date...

I have a friend who has 3x Current Skoda Flip Keys
The 3-Button type
They are from vehicles which have been salvaged and scrapped (he has them from work, along with numerous others for other brands too) - as a result the Blades are obviously no use, but the remote will work if recoded, and i'm sure the blades could be swapped to good, usable ones
How much would these keys be worth each? Roughly?

Nothing at my Local Dealer either - I need info sharpish to be able to decide whether to order one or not! Only got a couple of months to get my order sorted too...

Hit!
Looks good, doesn't need a shine IMO, suits it nicely...

The All-Weather diving circuit at Bovington is awesome - I used to live there, and often was involved in the Rally they held there annually
Its not an RAF Base - It's the UK Armour Centre - the Majority of Armoured Vehicle Training is carried out here, as well as vehicle trials etc
If i saw this sooner, I would have signed up, may be a little late notice for me, and i'm only half hour away! Bugger!

Good god.
Surely you meant to put 'these look Gash'? lol

I have it quite often on the track to our farm - just stop, bang it in reverse, give it some beans and shome heavy braking then carry on - always worked for me in releasing the stones from the Caliper or Disc ****e Shield.

conti pilot sport ps2
Conti Pilot Sports?
I think you mean Michelin...

I was running T1Rs on my Track Cavalier - Best Tyre i could find for the job i wanted them to do without looking at road legal cut-slicks...

Vauxhall Flame Pink is a common shade - a good Cutting and Polishing session will see it right though.

Maybe Halfords Crapspeed ran out of them Shonky Rims and thats why they are taking a while...

Quick 'shop - not perfect but gives the impression - that grille NEEDS coding from the factory - makes a significant difference IMO
-
Quite like the look of it myself, though not fully committing to that without seeing one in the metal first! (I made that mistake with the current Ford Mongdog )
Couple of things from me though;
- Grille Slats - Not keen on the Grille being slatted, and the Bumper being Honeycombed - they should be matched
- Need to see the Interior - i'm not happy with the light Grey in the current seats - dirt magnets! Hopefully the seat design is changed...
- Chrome Grille - :( I can imagine that front end looking considerably better with a coded Grille...

Also nice to see pictures of a VRS with a bit of dirt on it, show's they have a nice used look, i.e. out on the road and being enjoyed
Thats not a patch on how filthy it is normally...
I try to enjoy the car more than worry about how it looks - it was going around for the last couple of weeks or so with 'Briskoda.net', 'My other car is Crap', 'Durex', and 'I wish I had a Sponge' written into the dirt on the back...
Couldnt resist having another go of a B&W converstion of djgritts photos, his VRS comes out really well when its dirty Let me know if you want it removed djgritt. Not fussed by it being up atall! Only reason i haven't put it up is because i promised not to post whore any more on this one :P
That is all now, i promise!thanks harrysprout and damo. I did some of djgritts others too, djgritt take great photos of his cari'll have to update my collection shortly then...
Oh and thanks everyone with the positive comments, good to see my attempts getting a positive response!

That's gotta be some of the worst parking I've ever seen
Well, the missus drove that day, and the other is a Dagenham Dustbin, so its to be expected....

Got me post whoring now!
More I found on my PB account...
(those are my skidmarks going into the gravel on the last 2 too... )
That is all now, i promise!

I've got an intermittent issue with my Speakers - my R/L Speaker sounds like it is shorting out at times, and when it does it knocks the other speakers out in time with the beats of some tracks - i've found that by setting the Fade to F3 that i don't get the problem with the rear speaker, but then i get a lot more vibration rattles from my F/L Doorcard instead...
So, i want to know how i can get the doorcards off (without breaking anything!) so that i can have a look at whats going on and try to stop the rattles and see if there are any obvious problems as to why the rear speaker drops out randomly
It so intermittent, i have doubts that the system would play up if i took it to a dealer to have a look

The benefits of the 888 weren't just the power & torque figures, it's the fact that (at the time of release) for the same, or less, money of a comparable Petrol 'Hot Hatch', you were getting a similarly powered, higher torqued, more economical car, but one with a properly sorted Chassis, prepped and set up by 888 Racing/Engineering, who ran and prepared the Vauxhall BTCC Cars at the time, so as standard kit you were seeing Uprated Shocks and Springs incorporating a 30mm Drop, 18" Team Dynamics Lightweight Wheels, TOYO Proxes T1-R Tyres and Grooved 335mm Discs with 888 Branded Alcon 4-Pot Calipers.
