One of my keys stopped working on Sunday. Thankfully I was at home and had access to my 2nd key - if it had happened a few hours earlier I'd have been stranded at Heathrow. I presume it's battery, but the car is only 10 months old.

Touch wood....no issues so far. I've done about 300 miles since collection and it's been working fine.

Getting it back tomorrow - they're very confident that it's been resolved...we shall see!

Update - the technicians can find no faults and the software is fully up to date. They're baffled. That's it.

As I don't have the car with me to check, could someone please tell my where the 5th USB port is? 2 in the front console, 2 in the back, but I read that there are 5. Charging my phone in the front will be a pain as the cable being plugged in then makes the phone too big to fit. Edit - I've now discovered that it's up top.

It's so infuriating. "It was all working fine this morning".

I owned my new car today (ex demo 1.5 se l first edition) for all of 5 minutes before having to hand it back to the dealer for them to investigate multiple issues: - Sat Nav "loading" but not actually connecting - ACC - "this function is not available" - Smartlink - "this function is not available" Apparently had a full software update yesterday. Didn't even get to drive it. Sent home in a loaner 1 litre Fabia. Only a 4 hour round trip.

Cheers guys. I was told that the technician is checking to see if any more software updates are needed (main dealer) but I won't really know if what they tell me is necessarily accurate.

Hi all. I'm collecting my car at the weekend (used) and have asked the dealer for confirmation that the car has the latest software update. He's replied saying "97eq 02 part is for the infotainment which currently is up to date". I don't know what this means though! Can anyone add some detail or anything else I need to ask? Cheers

AP70 DTU - SE L First Edition 1.5 tsi I have put down a deposit for this car at Platinum Skoda in Bath and I was very excited until I discovered this forum! Haven't taken ownership yet, and it seemed to work fine on a test drive. Just thought I would ask on the off chance the previous owner is here. All I know is that it's done 9k miles, was taxed in December after being registered in October, and it was untaxed when due in May suggesting it was sold around that time. I have owned a mk2 and a mk3 before, as well as a Superb and a Kodiaq. I was dead excited until a few minutes ago! Cheers all!
