  1. I have 3C0 413 031 BC listed for my front dampers, but I'm struggling to find the Bilstein B4 equivalent. G06 option code. Where might I find the correct B4 number ? TIA.
  2. Thanks for the info. I'll start looking at 6J and 6.5J rims. Do you know if either of those sizes have been approved for use with the Yeti? If so, are they suitably 'standard' for fitment to a 170? Thanks. TnC
  3. Looks fab. Do you (or the collective wisdom) know how Tiguan and Yeti springs from Eibach compare with each other and the OE versions of each in terms of ride height? I ask because I have L66 and 0YJ PR-codes for my Yeti, and in an attempt to improve ride comfort further, I want to pair Eibach springs with Bilstien B4 dampers but with a non-reduced ride height. Eibachs for a Yeti seem only to come in a reduced ride height. (I've already gone to 16" wheels/tyres) Are your Eibach springs standard ride height (for a Tig) and would they on their own result in part of your ride height increase? Or are they reduced ride height (again for a Tig) that merely result in a Yeti being able to run standard ride height on Eibach springs, with the extra ride height coming form a separate lift kit? TIA.
  4. Hi YetiMarc. Any progress on this? What did you end up with? TnC
  5. 🎉 Not as dim as I thought! Thanks for your input! That's disappointing, that was my aim with the B4s and Eibachs, I've read good things here about that particular combo. I know you shouldn't change more than one thing at once to find a problem cause, but I'm also in need of some new tyres, and want to change anything that requires a geo check before I splash for new boots... Does Eibach offer a standard ride height spring set, or are they all lowered?
  6. @Breezy_Pete: Thanks for that. I am being dimmer than usual. Clearly not observant enough. Passed with advisories. Looking (for an excuse) to replace shocks & springs (B4+Eibach), and rear upper & lower arms. I'd like to keep standard ride height if at all possible. The rears are unambiguous, but my build code sheet (Vehicle-specific Information) for my VIN has fronts as G06 and L66, which I'm assuming are shock and spring respectively, giving me a 3C--BC shock and a 1K--DM spring. 1K--BL shows L66 too, but that appears to be only in combination with a G02 shock (not mine). Have I understood that correctly? Thanks for your time, BTW.
  7. Please can you add a screenshot or something for what you're seeing? Unless I'm being dimmer than usual and misunderstanding what part numbers are, or the description 'shock absorber', the only numbers I get are illustration numbers. I'm pretty sure that the part numbers are not '22' or '411-000 etc', since 'Hexagon collar nut' has the same range of numbers:
  8. Just off for my MOT, thought I'd check probable part numbers in anticipation of failure/advisories, and my previous sources, https://skoda.catalogs-parts.com/#{client:1;page:part;lang:en;region:cz;model:yeti;modification:yet;year:2013;modetype:666;group:4;subgroup:407;pnc:407007}#22 or https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/YET/666/4/407/407007 show no damper part numbers. Can someone please point me towards part numbers (with option codes) for a 2013 4x4 170 please? Tried several searches without success, but that's probably me being dim. Sorry... TIA. Iz.
  9. Where did you find the (interesting, and surprising) weight info above? Is there a specific Audi part number for the lighter wheels? Is the payoff that they will be weaker for potholes etc? Thanks. Iz
  10. Cheers for the quick response. I've briefly tried some A6 wheels at 16" to improve the ride quality. It did seem better, so I'll go searching for some pukka Yeti ones based on your information. Some new springs and dampers are also planned....
  11. Are there any 16 Inch wheel options for a 2013 Yeti that DON'T fit over the larger 170 brakes? The answer is probably buried somewhere in an existing post, but repeated searching has failed to turn it up. Awaiting bestowal of collective wisdom....
  12. How did you get on with the Yeti clutch after the remap? Any issues? I have a 2013 170 with 51k on the clock, well looked after by the previous owner. Do you think I'll have any clutch problems with a Racingline/Shark flash? Mine's boring grey though, sorry. T
  13. As a previous owner of an Octy Scout, I have become aware that Skoda's recommended geometry settings aren't necessarilry the best for tyre wear/handling, and alternatives were suggested. Is there a similar situation with the Yeti ( of which I am now an owner)? I have some odd tyre wear characteristics, with feathering (Is that the correct term? One edge has a 'lip') on the outer blocks front and rear. Is this to be expected with the standard settings, or is there something amiss? A (non-dealer) geometry check is planned and I would like to know what settings to ask for. Wisdom bestowal awaited... T
  14. Ok, thanks for the update.
  15. Hi Benh. Did you ever get to the bottom of this noise? I seem to have the same thing going on. T
