  1. Always take my Fabia and Karoq to them for service. Would recommend them highly.
  2. No problem with the Amundsen download for 2018 Karoq. Downloaded maps and logos from Skoda site to PC. Backed up old maps and radio logos from SD to PC before copying download from PC to SD card.
  3. I have a Aug 2019 1.5 SEL DSG, it had never shown any of the kangarooing issues etc but at its first annual service was update with 24EU. Although as I said it never showed any previous issues it now appears to run more smoothly at lower speeds.
  4. Over 3k miles with 1.5 sel DSG since Oct 2018. No problems at all. Nice car, generally getting 46 to 48 mpg, albeit mostly used on 90 mile trips. If buying check you can get comfortably in the driving seat, note the electric seat option has more adjustment than the standard (SEL) version.
  5. It would be helpful to know who is the dealer you say is very good. Thanks
  6. 2000 miles on my Oct 2018 1.5 DSG (post WLTP ) and no kangarooing no surging etc.
  7. I drive both a Fabia Mark 3 1.0 TSI (manual 95psi) and a 1.5 Karoq DSG (auto, TSI). Both are fine, indeed I am very suprised how well the Fabia drives compared to our old Aygo 1.0, the 1.0 TSI in the Fabia is very smooth. The Karoq with the 1.5 auto is very quiet, make sure you test drive the version you intend to buy as the non electric driver's seat we found uncomfortable.
  8. Have done the job now as you suggested. The seat seems much more comfortable. The real test is how it feels after a 2 hour drive. Thanks for all your help.

  10. The original bolts have an odd head/socket - do you know what type it was and/or how did you undo the original bolts. I see you replaced them with hex headed bolts/nuts
  11. Thanks I can now see what you have done. Will give it a go.
  12. I have had a look but cant see quite what bolts you changed. Any chance of a photo?
  13. I have had a 1.5 DSG SEL for about 6 weeks. I seems to me a very nice car which suits me well. My one issue is the drivers seat - it is really uncomfortable. The problem is the the front of the seat does not tilt up or down and the default position is too high for someone as shortish as I am. I had test driven the version with the electronic seat (which does have tilt on the seat base) and it was very comfortable. So anybody thinking about buying the Karoq should think about the electronic seat option. I have now added a wedge cushion to the seat which has improved matters.
  14. In fairness to Bristos I bought a nearly near Fabia (300 miles) from them recently and my salesman was Sanjiv. I found him polite and efficient.
