  1. Very helpful! Thank you. I will prioritize the fuel pump and we will see from there
  2. I will keep you all updated when I fix it and start it. Let's explore what it takes for a 24 year old car to get back on the road again
  3. I think the Sierra shares the brake pads with the Felicia but yeah, not important fact
  4. I really didn't get the chance to play around with it as I bought it the previous month like this (crashed) and I was waiting for shipping. Now my question is only about the electrical systems that could have been activated and prevent the car from starting. I have to fix a lot of things before I try to start it, that includes something hanging from the car that I saw last minute and it was the starter. So if anyone knows anything about something like that existing in a 2000MY Felicia with driver airbag let me know and thank you for your interest!
  5. Hey guys! I recently bought a crashed Škoda Felicia (2000) and I can't find any info about the crash switch. I was told the car has it and it can't start without turning it off. Anyone has info about this ? Thanks in advance!
  6. I thought about turboing the 1.3 but that needs a lot of work and quite some money for a maximum of 30hp. Not my goal to make the car unreliable and possibly a time bomb. The 1.3 can be tuned only that much while being safe.
  7. I am aware of the saying and exactly what you state. I am an amateur technician myself, my best friend is also one and I have a very dependable mechanic friend whom I have discussed with regarding the swap (KR Golf 2 owner), as well as some other mechanics I know well. I have no plans of selling the car as it is worth next to nothing, I bought it for 500€ after all and I am fixing it up. Trust me when I say I am already married with this car, I love it to death. The problem I am facing is mainly the lack of power and sometimes the delivery of it. It often cuts of the power and resumes right after but a split second is enough for me to get scared during an overtake.
  8. That's actually a really good question. Well, I think the chassis can handle it. It is not that much heavier from a diesel engine (which is the heaviest factory option). The forward slanting would have a negative effect on the handling but I suppose that won't be such an issue since it won't sit that far in front. Definitely more "understeery" than what it is now but I have no plans of pushing the car to it's limit (not again at least 💀). All in all I am hoping for a more powerful car and later I will be focusing on the handling. I have plans to make it a track car towards the end of it's life but for now just a daily driver (and a little bit of a sleeper 😁). Thank you for the question, it helped me put my plans in order and rethink the whole situation.
  9. Exactly our thinking. We were concerned with it and will have to try something out. If it doesn't fit maybe a different intake manifold would do the job?
  10. Γειά σου και σε εσένα Φυλακτέ ! I was thinking of going the illegal way with this, try to get someone to pass it through inspection or changing the motor every two years 🤣. Thank you for reminding me of Nizamis, I'll have to search it up a little bit and see if I can make something like this happen for cheap. After all the KR motor was a cheap deal, want to keep it budget friendly
  11. Hi guys! I am experiencing car trouble with my 1.3 MPi Felicia engine. I am looking for possible swaps as it would cost me quite some money to fix the stock motor. Has anyone swapped in the KR 1.8 16V motor from the Golf GTi MK2? Is it easy to fit? What kind of modifications does it require? Any help is appreciated, I am kinda cornered here as budget is low but the deal for the motor is good. Thanks in advanced
  12. Hi there, I am looking for an aftermarket head unit to replace the old Swing unit because of a failure in the CD player. What is the best head unit I can buy for relatively cheap ?
  13. Hello, My name is Bill, I am 15 years old and I love Skoda. My father had a 1989 Skoda Favorit for his first car. He then bought a 1998 Skoda Felicia 1.3 and that was the first car that I loved. I was 5 when he sold it, unfortunatelly I had no idea that he was going to do that and I could not prevent him. The car that replaced my beloved Felicia was a 2008 Skoda Superb 1.8 TSI, the car that we still own and I will do what ever it takes to have it forever in my hands...
