hi six months seems to be the default delivery time I guess to air on the side of caution. as for your trade in can you trade in now order your car and go without wheels until you get your new car that way you get the higher price I asked the same question regarding dcc and I luckily found a dealer who had one on the pitch to test drive so I took two hatch back vrs tsi out one with dcc and one without on very bad uneven local uk roads my thoughts were dcc didn’t turn the car into a magic carpet however it did take the crash out of certain services that the car without dcc did not i found it more noticeable towards the sport/hard setting making the car more taught on tight faster corners no wallow or roll at all and not suitable for your grandma in the bac seat! I decided on ordering my car with dcc as I feel I only buy it once and I may regret not adding the option it has bumped my happy place monthly payments up but as I just said you by the car car only once to your spec live for today

Do you you wish you added more or not even the ones that you have now. hopefully vAG group get the ongoing issues rectified I’ve read lots of things from Audi through the range experiencing a whole number of things wrong my neighbours have a two day old cupra formentor which has sat nav and e call problems a 40k car to say he is unhappy is an understatement keep me informed how your experience goes with the ease of use and gremlins if any

hi guys I’m waiting for my car to be made and I still have time to change options i have added bliss,winter pack,canton,rear wiper,spare wheel my question is I’m tempted to add dcc or travel assist i can’t afford both so which in your opinion is the better choice? or are neither worth the extra premium and don’t bother with any any opinions and personal experiences welcome

Well I went on the live chat thing in the corner of the screen and Skoda have no record of me or my order! having gone round the houses I have been informed that my car hasn’t been ordered... after contacting the dealer apparently my deposit and order has been accepted by them but due to the sales personal going off sick the order wasn’t actually placed with Skoda and nobody followed it up so I’m annoyed to say the least as the build time is now currently 25 weeks so approx November I might have them put winter tyres on it to save me the hassle! good job I chased it up or I would have been blissfully unaware of the ***k up

oh I see... well I guess I just carry on with day to day stuff and just keep checking my inbox for any info updates exciting times waiting for a new car but equally frustrating by not knowing anything regarding progress but at least it’s not unique to me so I feel better knowing that

hi guys how long after you ordered your car from the dealer did you get any correspondence regarding order received build date etc and was it from Skoda or the dealer themselves ive just ordered from a new to the franchise dealer who seem very uncertain as to what happens next now my order has been placed! especially with the chip shortage and COVID they have no clue as to what time scale my car will be built

you know John you own yours where as I along with many others are financed it is lovely to have but all I do at the mo is drive to work in it! So an expensive luxury or ornament depends how you look at it if you had £35000 and the rule was you had to spend it on a car what car would it be?

Not keen on mg colour. I’ve been told the choice vary by country as to how sales/selection are counted the uk tend to favour greys and whites and blues and generally less loud colours hence the poor choices. however meteor grey was my first choice! But missed out so I’m picking silver or mamba green now it comes to the uk within the next two months that is. thought buying a new car was meant to be a pleasure It is doing my head in now...

It wouldn’t affect me as my current car which I’m trading in for the vrs is bright orange so I’m used to not blending in LOL

Thing is I love the meteor grey but can’t have it! Skoda stopped the option on the 20th April but the dealers didn’t know and were still selling it. my ideal car would be mamba green tsi dsg 4 wheel drive if Skoda made that they would sell loads

If the colour in real life looks like these pics then I love it it looks ace trouble is it will become that popular it will become the new race blue and every car you see driving around will be green!
