Aw c'mon now, 'Take control of steering' means you are driving along with your hands behind your head. It will sometimes tell you to 'Take over steering' which means you were on auto pilot but forgot about it.
  2. The 195 60 16 will be excellent I'm sure, but as for the 18" low profile giving a harsh ride, that has been the opinion of others posted on here. Since you find it not to be the case then thats great news. Others might adjust pressures maybe.
  3. 18" wheel with low profile tyre might fit in wheel well but 16" 205x60xR16 fits in tight. Personally I dont think 18" is good for kamiq. The low profile will be bad for the alloys and give you a harsh ride. No doubt some will think otberwise.

I have it now and find it is a bit unnerving at times. The stop/start in the Octavia took a bit of getting used to and so I will stick with this lane assist to see if I get used to it in time. It's early days at only about 100 miles. Had a Basil Fawlty moment twice when for no particular reason that I could see, the system told me to'Take control of steering'. I thought ' what the**** ! and any more of that And I'lgive it a damned good thrashing. Lol.

front assist, lane assist, what else ? Sounds like its going to be annoying. I will be like Basil Fawlty shouting back at it ' yes yes I AM in control.' then giving it a good thrashing ! lol.
  6. Has anyone any opinion about new cars delivery that were at port of exit two weeks ago. Dealerships are currently shut down but do you think there could be movement in about a month's time if restrictions are eased a bit ?
