  1. Hi there, After my previous car the Dutch Brown Yeti, we bought a facelift model from 2015. The car was pretty fully equipped but there is always more to fit! (Retrofit!) It is a 1.2 TSI DSG with original nav, DAB, Sunroof, Keyless entry, Xenon. This is the car how we bought it in 2020. Things and Mods I allready done: - Change Mirror covers to glossy black - Wheels from the previous yeti we kept and put it on the new one. - Steering wheel from facelift model with DSG flippers - Roof rails we kept silver but changed the 4 covers to glossy black ones - Front spoiler to Monte Carlo black - Rear spoiler to Monte Carlo black - Side skirts / spoilers to Monte Carlo black - Rear Logo + Skoda Yeti names to black - Front Logo to black - Monte Carlo logos on the side - Wrapped the roof to black - Retrofitted PLA (Park Assist) So 4 extra sensors on the side so it can park itself - Enabled Apple CarPlay - Changed the climatic control to a luxury one (From AliExpress, See photo) Things to do: - Trailer Hitch - Alarm Horn (Already fitted but need to connect the cables and code it. - Active tire pressure monitor (The ones with the sensors in the wheels) more to come.... (Pictures also)
  2. What year Octavia? Octavia 2 is PQ and Octavia 3 is MQB
  3. I think it works on every Yeti, but mine is a 2015. The F version I had on my previous Yeti from 2010 (With the Green Illumination) It could be that the color must match, but I can't think of any electronics inside the DSG flippers. There is a 3 wire cable running to it, (1 wire for the button, 1 wire for the light and 1 for the common).
  4. Ive got this steering wheel: 565419091H from a superb 2017, white illumination. And fitted 5E0919719M buttons
  5. I'm also working on this, and you need this button set: 5E0919719M It's working for the Yeti, has DSG connectors and white illumination.
  6. Will this RCD330 also work in a Rapid from 2018? BCM is a PQ26, Can i just tap the same canbus wires?
  7. My parents own a Skoda Rapid Spaceback from 2018. It has a (Swing?) radio with no options. What are the options to Upgrade this to a ICE with Navigation and Bluetooth? I've build in multiple radio's in VW, Seat and Skoda cars, but with the new MQB there are some limitations to the canbus? The newer canbus on these cars is at a higher speed ? (Can anyone confirm?) I tried my MIB radio from my skoda Yeti, but it is not responding to the canbus system in the Rapid.

    Boot light

Same problem here! Anyone found a solution yet? I disassembled the lock and there are to micro switches and both are ok! I replaced the whole lock with one from ebay, this does'nt solve it. There is a 12V reading by the lamp, is the ground wire switched inside the lock by one of the microswitches?
  9. Fitted front heated seats this weekend. Bought this climate control : 3T0907044CS on eBay. And the kufatec cable for the Octavia 2 (couldn’t find one for the yeti) And 2 original Skoda Yeti seats with heating. (Only with some other print, mine were black). It took me around 1,5 hours to fit the cable and climate panel. I bought the Octavia kufatec cable, there is a difference in the layout. Pin 7 in the connector for the seat needs to go in pin4. Same as for the MK6 golf. See this diagram: Here You can see the 2 connectors (the one with white cables is the kufatec. And passenger side: Here is the pin 7 on the kufatec connector also wrong and needs to go to pin 4. (Photo is original connector on the seat). there is also a grey wire on the kufatec loom that runs from the climate panel to the fuse box, this on you don’t need (I cut it off). The seats I bought had a different print on it, so I swapped the foam cushions with heating pads with the original seats I had. This took me arround 3,5 hours for both seats. I is a lot of work but I can be done. Followd a manual here on the forum to disassemble the seats. If you have seats complete with heating this is a great an fast upgrade. Bought the cable, seats and climate panel for € 150,-
  10. When I bought my yeti 6 months ago. Rain sensor was disabled. Not sure if it came disabled from factory or previous owner had it disabled. I just enabled it in vcds and everything works well. If you have auto headlight switch you have a rain sensor. It is the same sensor. I only had no dimming mirror, but found one on eBay and fitted this.
  11. Since I got the door modules with options for folding mirrors and puddle lights. I installed ambient lighting. I bought 4 led footwell lights on eBay. I was planning to use them on the yeti but the yeti uses the pin for the rear fog light. I build 2 of these in de door panel. I solderd 1 extra led on the light and use it under the door handle. To connect the lights use pin 8 on the blue connector. I solderd the negative on the brown wire. Activate “ambient light installed” with vcds in the door module and all works well.
  12. It is the pump. I will make a scan with vcds
  13. I have this ABS module 1K0 614 517 AS This module does not support Hill hold. I want to change this module with a one that does support hill hold. Anyone know which one I need?
