Fortunately, the SKODA Gods have taken pity on me and leaving the battery disconnected has resolved the situation. but now I have an airbag Lamp lit. I think the car is trying to do for me. Just replaced the rear springs shock absorbers and shoes and drums and it does this to me . never mind I will sort it one way or another

Hi all Trying to sort out all the niggles before mot time, I thought I would look at the lights on alarm so my son wouldn`t leave his lights on. anyway,. STUPID ME Removed the dash WITHOUT disconnecting the battery (IDIOT) I have now activated the immobiliser and never having had an electronic key, I have no way to switch it off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated I have no idea where to start.

H i all, I have a 2001 mk1 Fabia 16v 1.4 petrol Auto. I have an oil leak where the nearside drive shaft comes out of the box. I have only the Haynes manual, which is as clear as mud. Can anyone explain if there is an oil seal at this point and its part no ,i can see a stick on gasket described but little else, I prefer to buy all the required parts first if that is possible .any information will be appreciated. Hi all, a continuation of this problem. I replaced the throttle body and the evap valve. Car ran better but still not right. Light came on again reset and it stays off for 10 mins. Now its ticking over rough as though its disconnecting every 30 secs for a split second then resumes and repeats. Does anyone know anyone in Bury Lancs area who can sort this issue for me. Hi all, As title, my sons Fabia Mk 1 is showing the EPC light , but I can find no fault. Any suggestions would be great. I propose to do a full service this weekend but I am worried that this will not help. Thanks in advance. Mick

Hi all, my son is having trouble getting the stick to come out of park or neutral. I think that there might be a problem with the safety indent attached to the brake pedal. but I find no mention of it in the Haynes Manual, Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Thanks in advance.

If you are not prepared to listen to others ,then why bother asking the question . fit your wide wheels and shorter sidewalls and all will be good for you.

Hi all, with winterapproaching ,Iwould like to sort out the " lights on alarm" on my sons car mk1 fabia 2000. Just replaced the rear bushes and brakes, but I am in uncharted waters now. I have the speedo out and have located the buzzer, but do not have a wiring diagram to tell me which wire in which plug operates the buzzer, I thought I would test this first, then see if I can follow the wiring back to the light switch. any help would be appreciated thanks Mick
