  1. I'm thinking of changing my Octy 3 estate 2016 2.0 TDI SE L ESTATE DIESEL for 2017 or 2018 hatchback petrol - non --VRS Can I transfer the spare wheel and foam kit etc. which is in the estate INTO ANY OCTAVIAS of 2017/8 (as v few cars I've seen for sale have the spare)? The tyres on my car are 205/55/16 Thanks Steve
  2. Thanks Scot 5 Great tips Yes the earlier services were done I may well have brake fluid changed
  3. Help First service coming up for my Octavia se 2016 2l tdi Local garage says i need an oil change I thought (this is my first diesel after 45 years driving) more might be needed Onservice history records: 2018 at 45k Oil service plus change dust pollen filter Diesel fuel filter Brake fluid service Air cleaner element 2019(On buying the car-60k) Oil change Cabin filter Oil filter Brake pads I'VE ONLY DONE 8K SINCE SEPTEMBER-because of lockdown I cant see evidence of major servie All skoda history says -Oil change service Any recommendations for type of work/service i should request please!!! The garage is an independent skoda/ vw specialist
  4. I agree with Gregoir Yoshi every time -works with my iphone se and spigen cover Thanks Thats true
  5. Hi Gregoir So do you recommend Yoshi In your first sentence did you mean Yoshi jaws distort the vent or Yoshi jaws themselves distort thus alleviating 'vent-stretch'
  6. I have the Yoshi IVE BEEN A A LITTLE RELUCTANT TO USE IT MY QUESTION :-ARE THE VENTS INTO WHICH YOSHI IS INSERTED IN ANY DANGER OF BEING STRAINED TO A MISSHAPE OR WILL THE PLASTIC ALWAYS RETURN TO ITS NORM Thanks
  7. Thank you Gregoire Maybe I was mistaken but they appeared to be at 2000 rpm at 70-it later appeared to go to 1600 My query was really concerning heat coming through front vents for a while (heater off -vents opened)and its potential link to a routine regen thus being nothing to be concerned about
  8. As in title After 3 thousand miles and 3 months of owning octy 2016 se 2.o I am pleased with car During a motorway journey today I was aware of hot air coming through vents Heating was off. I was at 70 in 6th and revs were higher than normal It righted itself after a while Is this what happens during regen Should I close vents The 40 mile return journey was normal
  9. Thank you Micro you have clarified what i was thinking Also Oldboyscout for direct answer
  10. Also for dpf regens did you mean responding to warning light or high revs Thx
  11. Micro?By a higher gear do you mean 4th or 5th at 40/50 mph respectively Could you cite a potential gear and approx RPM? Thx
