  1. Any other rollers and the C63 will hit 505 or a smidge more, the JKM rollers are not good. I’ve had a couple of AMG’s C63 and E63 and every single C63 ever mapped has over 500, it’s just what they do, all day every day, no questions asked. Here is my old C63 and the graph after being mapped.
  2. Personally never heard of a winter fuel mix, no idea on this but why would there be a difference? For me, my base was that C63, on a map, the M156 engine will do all day everyday everywhere 50x bhp, and to be at 483 when standard is 457, not right. This is the first dyno I have ever been or seen where the cars are at an angle and not road level so to speak and I do wonder if this has an effect on the way the Engine management manages the fuel and timing etc as it detects it’s at an angle and goes into some sort of protection mode? Just another theory..... But as said before, as just about everything was 20-30bhp down on expected, it’s just a little too convenient and odd for something to not be right in the physical setup on the equipment in my opinion.
  3. Yeah the whole thing is a little odd, that everything was down on expectation, and not just buy a little, but consistently the same across all vehicles. One of my theories is that as the cars are on a tilt, the weight of the front of the car is not pushing the wheels down enough onto the rollers to get a truly accurate figure. This is kinda backed up be the below...not having the weight of the car in its natural level state, “could” reduce the mass places on the drum. The drum inertia settings. Most dynos have adjustable settings for drum inertia meaning you can change the weight of the roller settings. What does that matter you ask? Well the final power reading is relative to the drum inertia as the engine has to spin this mass to provide the acceleration. An assumed heavier roller will inflate the Hp readings, reducing the mass of the roller will lower the final Hp readings. I do find it a little odd that everything was under by 20-30hp, just a little to strange for my liking. I wonder if they have the inertia setting correct for cars on an angle and the vehicle weight over the axel not there when under load? On mine for example, on the 4-5 times I have been on a dyno, is various states of tune and at different locations, it has always been consistent in terms of the power levels....my result today was lower than my stage one map on its own. I know that JKM have a reputation as the heart brake rollers, but something is a little off given the consistency of the “offness” on the power results on the cars and I do wonder if this is the setup of the dyno itself.
  4. As I said earlier, little odd that Just about EVERYTHING is 20-30bhp below what it should be. The C63 should be 505-510 easily, is just what those maps do and the M5 is what 30 down on last year. Every Octavia regardless of tune state was around 300.....just a little weird if you ask me. Thanks for organising Tony
  5. Good man, McDonalds always gives me the 💩💩 so I’ll pass, might have to find somewhere for a bacon sandwich!
  6. Does anyone know if there are any breakfast facilities local?? i should be there between 10.30 & 11am, dropping the kids off at 9.30!! Woohoo 🥳
  7. I’d happily have a week off work with the wife and kids away, give me some piece and quiet, even if she did write. Whole list of jobs in a book.....
  8. Sounds good. I’m hoping to be there for about 10.30ish so as soon as possible to be on after then would be most appreciated.
  9. I’ll get down as early as I can, prob SER off around 9.30, so should be there by 10.30 I would think. Hoping I can kinda just jump in/on very soon after arrival 👍🏻
  10. IS20. Can’t justify the cost of IS38 for 30bhp odd. Thanks
  11. What mods are you running? Assuming an IS38 or similar?
  12. Wife will be off about 9am, so should be there between 10-10.30 ish.
