Hi everyone,
My car (MY19 Octavia 1.5 TSI) was hit in a parking lot a month ago, and I got a letter from my insurance company last week that they are not going to repair it. Instead they are offering me a new car. I could get the old Octavia model i.e. the same as my car, heavily discounted, but paid a little more to get the new Octavia instead. It's a First Edition 1.5 TSI Estate, Manual, Titan Blue with a "premium pack", Columbus, 18" wheels and some other specs I may not have chosen myself had I ordered it from the factory - however, this car is already in the country, so I'll get it soon (not too keen of spending the summer without a car..).
I hope the "nose dive"/kangaroo-problem won't be present in the new Octavia. The main reason I didn't chose the old model is that mine did have some problems with hesitation at low revs. Anyway, will keep you posted!
