Octavia Mk IV Picture Thread
Thanks, Edu! It's Titan blue. Almost one year on, I'm still very pleased with the choice of colour

New update
Me too, mine's booked for 3 (!) updates next week.

What have you done to your Octavia MK IV/A8 today?
That's a good looking Octavia! Love the colour and the alloys. Congrats!

New Octavia Titan Blue
Yes, they said that they would fix it at first but I guess the insurance company said no. Don't know what the story is with the fog lights on the MK4, apparently it's not a problem anymore....

New Octavia Titan Blue
Sorry, yes my car is scheduled for a software update next Tuesday (something to do with the airbags). They may not need to replace the fog lights after all, not clear why they changed their minds about this.

No SD Card Slots
I have the Columbus in my mk4, but there is unfortunately no hard drive.

Bought the new Skoda Octavia mk4 1.5 TSI (6 speed manual)
Really? I was not reached by Skoda about that. Hopefully they will notify me. Just reply to this thread so I will know when you are booked for an update. I will have to talk with my dealer. I guess they'll fix this in a couple of weeks; spare parts are ordered. Will let you know!

That's correct, mine's 45 litres.

Yes, indeed. Mine will apparently get a software update soon, and they will replace the key fobs and the fog lights(!) for some reason. Anyway, congrats on your new car - I'm very pleased with my MK4 and ride quality is very, very good even on 18" wheels.

Has 1.5 TSI engine now been fixed?
Yes, that's often the biggest hurdle - but it can be done 😃

Has 1.5 TSI engine now been fixed?
I've had the new Octavia (mk4) 1.5 TSI for a couple of weeks now, and no hesitation or kangarooing problems as of yet - it's great fun to drive.

Thanks @Core2Duo There were only a few new Octavias available, and my dealer had none so he had to get it from someplace else. I've had it for 2 weeks now and am very pleased with it! The car definitely feels more premium than the MK3 Octavia, and above all the seats are much more comfortable. Furthermore, no kangarooing or hesitation as of yet and the 1.5 TSI engine feels more eager. Now I just have to get used to finding my way around the new Columbus with hardly any physical buttons

New Octavia Titan Blue
Hi everyone, My car (MY19 Octavia 1.5 TSI) was hit in a parking lot a month ago, and I got a letter from my insurance company last week that they are not going to repair it. Instead they are offering me a new car. I could get the old Octavia model i.e. the same as my car, heavily discounted, but paid a little more to get the new Octavia instead. It's a First Edition 1.5 TSI Estate, Manual, Titan Blue with a "premium pack", Columbus, 18" wheels and some other specs I may not have chosen myself had I ordered it from the factory - however, this car is already in the country, so I'll get it soon (not too keen of spending the summer without a car..). I hope the "nose dive"/kangaroo-problem won't be present in the new Octavia. The main reason I didn't chose the old model is that mine did have some problems with hesitation at low revs. Anyway, will keep you posted!
