I had two, one replaced under warranty, and they both did the same thing in the same place. The only solution would be, was to have the exhaust tips facing down towards the ground, but that's alot of extra work just for a splitter, at least that's the answer for the diesels anyway. It's a shame as it's a good splitter. You just need to direct the exhaust gases away from the splitter, either downward facing exhaust tips for diesels, or longer tips that get the gases further out through the exhaust tips, and not just heat the tips up so much they melt.

Easy to wire up and the two boxes for the beepers, are all labelled up with the wiring, but I've made a note of where they are attached to, for easy fitment. Just checked the Westfalia website, and they are 625 brand new, and then fitting. Collection only as the weight of it. Mine did the exact same too. It did it on the original and replacement, within days of them going on. Maxton replaced the first one but I've just left it now as it's never going to get fixed, shame really

Hello. I've changed my stereo from an MIB1 to and MIB2 with upgraded glass 8 inch screen. It's all been coded as best as I can tell, apart from a few things which I wanted to ask about here. It was meant to have had component protection removed but by the looks of things, it's had hacked software loaded onto it instead ? Because it has a component protection fault error code on 19 gateway and 5F multimedia but still works and doesn't show any errors. I'm going to get this removed properly so that will get rid of that error. Also, I'm getting errors for TSR missinng data bus error, aswell as the traffic sign restricted message. I thought as I had upgraded to an MIB2 that that error wouldn't have happened, but I'm not sure if that's because I haven't upgraded the camera firmware to match the mib2 system ? As it will still be mib1. Also, when in the driver assistance A5 there is the option to change navigation type to mib2 standard or high or psd1.5, psd1.4 but when I just try and change it, it's says it won't allow the change. Is that something to do with the camera firmware not matching the stereo ? The mib2 unit is running software version 0252 but I think there is the option for newer firmware 0253, but because of how the software on my unit was messed with when coded, not sure if I update before removing the component protection fault it will disable the audio til it's removed, and will I loose android auto etc ? Apart from those 3 errors, everything works as it should but I'm just trying to make sure it's all working correctly is all. Any help would be appreciated

Only flickering when on the move ? Doesn't do it stationary ? Just seems strange it's only high beam it happens too ? The dash error, says right headlight bulb out or something similar to that, I'll see if I can get the exact wording.

I've got a strange issue with my driver's side xenon headlight. When I use high beam, sometimes it will work fine, with no issues, other times, it will flicker and throw an error on the dash about the headlight being out. I've changed the xenon bulbs as at first I thought it may have been them as it was only happening on high beam and not main beam. But it's still happening with the new xenon bulbs. Anyone have any ideas at all, only other thing I can think of would be the controller/ballast pack ? Coild that cause the flickering issue ? Not really sure what else I could check, so any ideas would be helpful. I've read a few threads regards it could be something to do with the auto switch, but thought that would effect both high and main beam ? So I'm at a loss ? Anyone have any suggestions ?
