How many lambdas ? 2.0 TDI
Yes. If you do not do it it takes around 200km to work itself out.

Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0TDI (CUPA EA288) high oil consumption
Mine at 160k km did not consume more than 500 ml /10.000km. I did not even bother with the oil. Later I found out that 2 injectors were bad and I am now thinking that I had a lot of diesel in the oil substituting the oil. I sold the car after I fixed it and I do not know more about that.

DPF regens too often
Change the pressure sensor with a known working one and adapt it. Drive around 30km to see if anything changes. The fact that temp sensors seem to work OK and pressure sensore will be tested leads to -> clogged DPF or lambda probe issue. I would get the car to a good diesel service and let them try at their expense. Later edit: if DPF is clogged at ~200k km the issue that lead to this need to be found. Poor software/oil consumption/bad injectors like you have on number 2.

DPF regens too often
Yes. Is that taken on idle with normal operating temperature and no load ? If yes your injectors are not OK or worse one of the cylinders is not up to the others so ECU is compensating. At 163k km I had a 7-8 hPA after a regen at idle. You can check the sensor fast : with power on/ ignition off sensor should show around -2 to +2 hPA.

DPF regens too often
Stationary. Did you check injector corrections ? I see that the sensors look ok at a first glance. Las sw version for this engine is 8151.
-
DPF regens too often
No that is not normal. Measured should drop faster than calculated and actually get to a negative value. Just do a forced service regen from VCDS and see the values after.
-
DPF regens too often
Soot mass measured does not increase while idling. That is normal behaviour.
-
DPF regens too often
It is a calculation based on pressure sensor/MAF/temp sensors on the load of the DPF. Either one of these sensors is bad or you have a really bad smoking car.(this was my case). Is the car tuned?

DPF regens too often
For injector state the software does not show the actual state. You need to do return test or extract them and test them on a machine. Also the lambda can be tested by oscilloscope. Go in VagDpf and look in setting for group set to auto and change it to group 0.
-
DPF regens too often
See where the measured goes after a regen( you can set VagDpf for group 0) and then see how fast it fills up. Had the same problem so questions are: - how much oil used for 1000km - injector state - lambda sensor changed ? You might have 2 I changed 2 and 3 and it was fixed. For most it is number 1 the cause.

Lots of regens
I am not going to say that. But I would do an oil change now and check for oil consumption in 1000km. It might mean piston rings...
-
Lots of regens
It should not matter. My car used only 0.4 L every 10.000 km. I think your regens are coming from using too much oil. What you see on the dipstick is also mixed with diesel from the regens...

Lots of regens
Corrections for injectors can only be checked by a machine. The ones in VCDS are useless for EA288. DPF off the car and cleaned in my case. It was not full of ash so this only improved a bit the symptoms. Does your car use a lot of oil ? Or maybe coolant ?is the car on stock software ?

Lots of regens
Did you reset the learned values ? Yes car got better and better and after 1000km it was ok. But then again read the whole list of parts I did change...

Lots of regens
I had the same issue with a CUPA engine? Do you have a CUNA or CUPA? CUPA does not have 2 EGR, no VVT, only 1 lambda sensor. Your engine is smoking. 1. changed DPF pressure sensor - same issue 2. checked injectors and had 2 over +-1. Changed all of them with injectors from a GTD with 20k km -> issue improved but not fixed 3.cleaned DPF and checked low pressure EGR . Cooler for EGR was leaking and changed that also ->issue improved further but not fixed. 4. checked for recall -> none 5.checked for recall for GTD-> recall for Lambda sensor -> changed lambda sensor and did a recalibration -> issue fixed after 1000km. Bad software engine design that does not throw errors. Recall for VW engines in this case -> 2X34 if i'm not mistaken. After fixing it I sold the car. My car did this at ~160.000km.
