  1. Why the Rough Road pack? Unless you live along a farm track, don't see why you need this.
  2. I only have a lowly SE model, so no rear radar. As for retro fit, agree with others it will be a high cost, as £360 if done as factory fit, but will have to run the cables and do coding changes. Guess if the OP is having difficulties parking, then can make the judgement call on buying it.
  3. I have the front sensors, and find them very useful. There is the automatic braking if you get too close to an object, which I guess is related to the parking sensors as it does that when I reverse as well as go forward, rather than the front radar.
  4. 7-pin electrics means you will not have reverse or fog lights on whatever is plugged in. Ok for a bike carrier, but if you have a large trailer (over 1.3m wide) or caravan, then you will not be legal, as they require a red rear fog light.
  5. SE does not have the option at all. I added Drive Mode Select, but that is for Eco/Normal/Sport/Snow drive modes. No option to get Off-road switch. This was a MY19 build. Looking at the brochure I had when I bought my Kodiaq, the Off-road switch is not an option and only seems the Scout has it.
  6. Just done a comparison between the Kodiaq SE 1.5TSi manual 7 seat with options to match a Tiguan AllSpace Match. Price difference is Kodiaq £595 cheaper (1.7%). Go to top of the range, and to make a L&K 2.0TDi 190 4x4 DSG with options the same as a R-Line Tech, the difference is £1,640 (3.4%). So, a little cheaper like for like, but you have to have all the kit with a VW, whereas you can decide in the Kodiaq to not have some of those options and get a much cheaper car.
  7. Note this is without a spare wheel. If there is one added, then the boot floor will now be almost at the height of the boot lip.
