  1. I think your software must be different to mine sorry. I get the message along with various amber warning triangles etc that lasts for about 3 or 4 minutes, as said, until the heater gets going and it all seems to work ok then.  Unless it is snowing and that seems to obscure the camera/sensor.  My display on the dash looks a bit different to yours as well, as I have battery % as well as range. I thought there had been a software update to add this some time ago..?  How old is your car, are you running a recent version of the software..?

  2. I just did the fuse mod so that the 12V socket in the boot becomes live when you turn the ignition on, and then plugged the rear dash cam in...........

Dare I say it, an even easier install...........😉

    Numbers may vary for you

     They certainly might...!

We pay 15p/kwh on Economy 7 night rate to charge ours  ( OFGEM has been kidded that Chester is the most expensive city in the UK to supply...🤣)

Our offer from Octopus Go is 12 p/kwh.

Your 5p/kwh I'm guessing isn't available to anyone currently looking for a tariff to charge their EV...?

And some of the night time periods are so short ( 4 hours), it is difficult to take advantage of the night rate to do other household tasks.

Then there is the increased day rate ( over a single rate tariff) to consider.

When the current Energy Price Guarantee ends if there is no subsidy of the night rate then the viability of EV's is further reduced.

If I was choosing a car today it would be a petrol Kodiak, not an Enyaq........😧

  4. I'm lucky enough to have got my car a week ago and so far I am very pleased with it. It drives far better than I could have dared to hope for and has generated much interest amongst my neighbours and work colleagues etc.....

But overall I was very disappointed with a number of issues around the dealership. After I took delivery I received a satisfaction survey from the sales guy I had dealt with so I sent a long email outlining the various issues and why I would never by a another car from them again ( this is my 3rd new Skoda).  The sales chap said he had forwarded the email to his Sales Manager.

I don't really care now I've got the car, but I haven't heard a fig from the Sales Manager. I don't think they give a toss at the moment, it's a sellers market and they can sell all the cars they can get their hands on......

But the pendulum will swing the other way fast and hard very soon. As the supply chain gets going again & the cost of living crisis bites home the car market will change as well....

  5. There's a thread running on the other Enyaq forum, 186 pages long, on delivery delays, but the general gist is that orders from Nov 21 are starting to come through now. Possibly 60's a bit faster than 80's but it all seems to be very random and hit and miss with no logic to it at all really.....

My 60, ordered on 15/11/21 is due to be collected from the dealer on Thursday (:)), but there have been so so many delays ( factory covid shutdown, factory war shutdown, shortage of chips, stuck at Emdem, dealer taking nearly two weeks to PDI) that I really won't believe it till I have the keys in my hand.....

Just in time to be dearer to run than the diesel it replaces unless Liz Truss pulls something out of the hat......🤣

To be honest the whole delay thing has sucked almost any pleasure out of the new car and several times I have nearly cancelled the order and bought a van, which I really could do with for my little side line business.......

  6. It sounds like you have been lucky that you haven't paid for the car, and as those features are obviously important to you, I wouldn't do so.......

That possibly means the dealer will eventually sell the car on to someone else and you will need to re-order another car...?

As the waiting list is a year long unless they are able to help you jump the queue that is not a good option either....

Makes me glad I barely know what you are talking about and would never use those features !

    Good luck....!

  7. I wonder whether these dealers giving updates now have information that is truly up to date.....?

Unless VAG/Skoda can source a supplier of wiring looms from somewhere other than Ukraine then I don't think any of us are getting a car anytime soon..........😧

I wonder how many looms they have in the stores. I suspect I know the answer to that......😥

Rotation of tyres seemed to have gone out of fashion, but the Skoda manual recommends rotating front to back and vice versa every 10,000km, not miles. I am concerned that if I left my 225/40 R 19 Turanzas until 10,000 miles the fronts would be too worn to make it worthwhile.

Yes,  mine is on the original Turanzas at 12.5k miles and whilst the back has probably 6mm on the fronts are on about 4mm..  i've been looking at the Black Friday deals for Turanzas but haven't seen any decent deal yet. I may as well change them now and get the benefit of new tyres through the winter rather than wait till they are down to 2-3mm......

I have deliberately not rotated front to back as tyres for my 19" rims seem very expensive and I only want to buy two at a time !

  9. The interior lights on my 2020 Sportline are LED but the boot light was feeble. I can't remember whether that was a ( poor) LED, or halogen. But I fitted one the LED bootlights I had bought from Superskoda for my Octavia. It is literally, brilliant.  Now when I open the boot the rechargeable torch comes on on one side and the bright LED on the other....

Superskoda aren't cheap, but all the stuff I have bought has been decent stuff.....
