Afternoon all. Can anyone explain this code to me. It came up on my OBDELEVEN after getting an engine light and "start stop error" caption. I can clear it but it occasionally reappears. Is it serious? I have a bluespark performance unit fitted. Skoda said no faults were found when I took it in for diagnostic and bluespark said their tuning box "shouldn't" throw that code out. P023600 Thanks in advance. I'm a bit of a worrier when I get dash lights illuminated. Car is a 2019 245 vrs

Sikoflex and tiger seal will cure in lower temperature but takes longer. Self tappers will secure it in place during the process.

Good point about the tiger seal. Luckily I have a warm garage I can leave my 245 in once done. I used self tappers for the skirts too, as a belt and braces solution. Will order the diffuser shortly. It's all I need to finish my car off.

Evening Danielwhitt. I too am thinking of getting one of these. I already have the Maxton side skirts fitted. Did you use tiger seal/sikoflex to secure it. That's what I used for the side skirts. I held them in placed with two jacks and a plank of Wood until they were bonded.

I have fitted one-one my TFSI 245bhp mk3. I'm very please with it (I've fitted one to 4 cars previously too). I notice much better response and less turbo lag. I did have a throttle response module fitted before but it is not as good. I find I get better fuel economy too, when not driving like Colin Mcrea. Well worth it in my opinion. Good bunch of helpful guys to if you phone them.

Its good. Certainly not boy racer loud but a nice rumble on start up and during gear changes. Mine is a manual.

As you can see in the rear spoiler phot, I have also removed the rear wiper. Ugly pointless item anyway.

Also had a resonator delete pipe fitted.

Here is a phot (can only upload one sadly)of my 2018 vrs 245. Wind deflectors all round. 20mm spacers all round. Black spoiler and splitter. Bonnet lifters. Bluespark superchip. Interior Red LED lighting. Mud flaps all round. Side skirts. Very pleased with this, my second Octavia VRS. My precious one was a heavily modified diesel black line.

The rear wiper is an ugly appendage that is not really needed. The rake of the the window keeps the water off and road spray is limited due to the rear boot spoiler. Yes, rainx helps but is not a must have. I think that aesthetically the rear of the car is far better without it. I have removed mine on over a dozen cars now. Never regretted it. Never had an MOT issue or problem with resale. Go for it, it's your car.
