  1. Probably not the cause, but worth checking nevertheless (and easy to check). Someone drove into the side of my 18 reg Superb L&K two years ago. After I got the car back from the body shop there was an intermittent rattle and it was driving me nuts. So I sent it back to the body shop. They thought they'd sorted it, gave it back to me, but the issue remained. I sent it back to them again and this time they had it a while. Turned out it was the umbrella in the door causing the issue, which surprised me. But it was down to them as they had to replace the door. So try removing the umbrella's and try again. Like I said, it's probably not that, but easy to check and rule out.
  2. I've not long taken delivery of my new L&K iV Superb. I had an 18 reg L&K 190 diesel before. Somehow this feels different to drive. Probably because it is new and all nice and tight. On to my query. The navigation / maps in the car. I've seen a few threads complaining that post codes can't be used. Great! Something that I used to have on my old L&K was in the bottom right of the map was the altitude of the car. I cannot see a setting to show this. I have found a setting to show it on the speedo, but I don't really want it there. But the biggest issue is that it hardly shows any road names. Pretty useless as a sat nav if you don't know what the roads are. I can't find any setting that would limit the number of road names shown. Has anyone else experienced this? Other settings on the old car were route preferences where you can set to avoid toll roads, ferries etc. Again, I can't find any of these settings.
