Hi currently have the turbo off my car, its just a standard kkk. I plan on getting a bigger one at some point, just not sure when that will be so i was intending to take the turbo apart and renew the seals in it with a rebuild kit as a temporary thing because its been leaking oil into the ic pipes. Perfectly confident taking it apart& putting it together again however my only concern when researching this topic was whether or not it would need balanced after its rebuilt? Seen a few things saying it will need done & others saying it wont.

Due to the valves being flat with the face of the head would i have to remove them to do this accurately? Or can i do it with them in place

So can i or cant i use a recon head then?🤣 or should i just start by checking to see if my old head is straight & if so is it just a case of giving it a clean and putting it back on?

What would be the outcome if i was to use a recon head and it hadn’t been HIP coated? Could i get away with cleaning& reusing my old head if its flat? Although i doubt it will be, had the coolant issue for over a year now

Hello. Ive just removed the cylinder head on my 05 mk1 fabia vrs due to having constant pressure in coolant system. I’d just like to know if anyone can point out the issues with the old gasket, head and block face as im not really too sure what im looking at in terms of where the problem of the pressure most likely came from. also, i believe the old gasket a 2 hole? I plan on buying a recon head so it will have been skimmed ect, does this mean i need to buy a 3 hole gasket or will another 2 hole do? cheers

So am I right in saying that this wire could also just be routed to the fusebox and not have to bother at all with the brake switch? And then the other wire with the male end goes directly to the ecu?

The reason i was unsure is the fact that there are 3 wires coming off the loom in the diagram that he 3rd being the connector for the brake pedal, and only two wires coming off the loom that i have. It threw me off as i have seen other looms with that connector attatched aswell as several other wires. are you able to explain how you would wire this up please? I have seen that you offer this install on facebook so appreciate if you may not want to give me the details etc. I did consider coming to you to get this fitted but i think im 3-4 hours away from you and i dont currently have the time to travel down so hoping just to try and get it sorted myself if possible. cheers

I bought a cruise control kit last year and never got round to fitting it. 05 mk1 fabia vrs. After doing some light research on fitting it i noticed that the wiring loom I was sent is different to that of any diagrams i can find. Could anyone shed some light on this please? first photo is the loom i have, 2nd is the only diagram i can find online. cheers
