  1. Couple of visits a month. Up Friday, back Sunday. So an additional £50 pm. However. I am now considering keeping it, at least till the summer.
  2. #220 now lives near Portsmouth. However as I use it to visit relatives in Croydon quite often and my route in is now guarded by ULEZ cameras, I am selling. Just over 100k miles. Just been serviced. Its very clean. Not been tuned or crashed. What should I be asking for it? I've seen some in the past for £5500.
  3. Invoice lists windscreen wash fluid, oil filter, oil and sump plug.
  4. Thanks for the replies. Km to miles makes sense. Did take the engine cover off, but didn't see what i expected an oil filter to look like. But as said if only insert replaced i wouldn't be able to tell. Ringing garage soon to see what they have to say about wash/vacuum.
  5. Bought Yeti 2.0 110 BHP Diesel FWD about 6 months ago. Put it in for service. Told it is minor service, basically oil and filter, plus inspection. £179 at local Stealers. When collected car noticed it hadn't been cleaned. I didn't know they would, but expected it. Paid bill. Later looked at receipt etc. Said cleaned inside and out. It wasn't. One of the checkpoints was expiration date of tyre repair fluid. It was ticked as OK. Actual fluid has June this year on it. So out of date! I have checked oil level. Looks clean and to top level. I can't see where the filter is. Would the undertray need to be removed to change the oil filter? It doesn't appear to have been disturbed. I assume old oil is sucked out via dipstick stick tube. Service interval indicator has been reset, but shows 9400 miles/365 days to next oil change. Why not 10000 miles? Inspection says 20100m/730 days. My concern is that receipts say this and that has been checked, but it also says it has been cleaned, when it hasn't. I will obviously be speaking to garage about it, but I am concerned oil filter may not have been changed. How do I check? Cheers Brian
  6. Phil Taylor (Horndean Hampshire) fitted a tow bar to my Berlingo, about 15 years ago. About 12 years later the metal plate holding the twin electric sockets snapped. This was due to it being bent back by other half, then straightened by me. Anyway decided to get it replaced. Took it to Phil. When they saw it was one of theirs, they replaced it FOC! That's great customer service.
  7. Hi all, just acquired a Yeti Outdoor, 2.0 Diesel, 110hp, 2016, FWD, on 26k miles. Its saying it requires an oil service on the Maxi Dot display. I was told it had a service at 19k miles. Long life oil is mentioned on the Vehicle History form that came with it. That oil change was 2 years and 3 months after its registration date! Oh its ex mobility, but not modified. Looking through the menus, I found the following: Oil Service 2300 ml / -39 days Inspection 13000 ml / -44 days. According to a label I saw somewhere (in the handbook?), its supposed to have the variable service interval. Probably explaining the (very!) long period before its first oil change. I have also read that if the dashboard buttons are used to reset the service interval, it becomes a fixed interval. The 19k mile service was on 16 May 2018. Almost one year plus 40 odd days ago. To me it looks like it has gone to fixed interval. How can I check? Can it be set back to variable? The 2300 miles shown for the oil would probably bring it up to 29k miles, 10k miles since last service. Why is the Inspection mileage not 2300 also. I guess they can be set individually. Is a figure of 13000 miles sensible, even for a fixed interval? Cheers Brian
  8. Hi all, just purchased my first Skoda. Its a 2016, 110hp diesel, FWD Yeti Outdoor, in Jungle Green. Unfortunately previous owner was a smoker. Car stank. Have managed to air it out and it will soon be replaced my the smell of our 3 dogs! Other than a few other minor issues I'm enjoying driving it. Anyway off to the technical forum to ask a few questions. Brian
