Yes I am aware of that, but it is now supposed to be across the range. The iV is too much of a compromise for me

The meta data must be there because Merc will show song etc on driver display when using carplay I'm amazed only Renault to date has implimented the iOS9 nav turn directions on the driver display Maybe they are all going to leap to the iOS13 dual display capability next time around, lets hope so. Although it must be galling for them, all the effort they put into their own systems and people just want CarPlay features

218PS is the power output of the iV so I would say this is the PHEV. Full BEV is coming at some point as there will be a BEV Passat in the next few years or so

I wouldn't buy one for other reasons but I have to say the Merc E class dual screens work well in terms of height and styling I used to hate 'stick on tablets' but I have come to realise that with smartphone mirroring you do need a high screen otherwise you spend too long looking down when navigating etc

So it was a case of go big or go home 🤣 I'm sure the Passat is a great car and I have driven a couple for short periods but there is just something about them that makes be loose the will to live The latest Superb is a good looking car, much better than previous ones and you get lots of good stuff over the Passat for less money, XDS for free, more real leg room, parcel shelf under boot floor, luggage net to roof if you spec it at factory, cooled seats if you have leather and zest for life intact !

Will be really interested in what you think of the NVH in the Superb compared to the R32 Have you gone for a diesel ? My R32 has about 260ks on it I'm hoping I can eake it out to 300 before calling time

The brown I really hate is the 'chocolate' interior, I really wish they would replace it with a nice tan colour. I'm bored of black and the cream is ok but it's a bit magnolia !

According to the brochure the 190tdi 4x4 L&K estate is 44.8 The 4x4 seems to cost about 4mpg The DSG about 1 mpg The 190 vs 150 about 5 mpg

Could it be small sun or frost damage ? maybe ask at a local specialist bodyshop Or is it simply the PPF lifting from the paintwork ?

It's interesting, every time I see an opportunity to ask elsewhere on non Skoda channels about Superb interior noise levels compared either to "premium" or other mass market rivals the words I get back are things like "slightly" or "a little" etc I don't see others saying it is night and day nosier Just curious

On a run can you get 60+ out of a 190TDi 4x4 DSG Estate ?

Has anyone had mud flaps on a Superb? Worth it ? Do they keep the side of the car cleaner ? Do they get clogged up much ? Thanks
