  1. We had a sticky pedal recently, would go down but not come back up again. Bled the clutch slave cylinder - lots of black fluid came out, bled it til it ran clean and pedal operation return to normal. Worth a try ?? Phil.
  2. Had this recently on our car. The tailgate lock mechanism had failed somewhere internally and when you press the release it just made a whirring noise. All sorts of Internet wisdom suggested it's got water in it from leaks around the rear wiper seal but that wasn't the case for me. I replaced the latch with a second hand one from eBay - works fine again now. In fact the biggest struggle I had was getting the trim panel off the inside of the tailgate !! Phil.
  3. Yes it's diesel. Ok, that makes sense. Presumably the fans will shut off when the regen is done ?? Phil.
  4. Hello there. I'm new to Skoda ownership and have recently acquired a 2012 Yeti SE 170 4x4. A couple of times now after a decent run the cooling fans have "run on" after turning the engine off - I would expect them to switch themselves off after a short period of time (assuming the fan switch is mounted on or close to the radiator and therefore cooled down by the fan) but they don't seem to have done so after say 5 mins post engine off. In order to get the fans to turn off a quick restart of the engine and a switch off again seems to shut the fans off. Is this normal behaviour or something warranting further investigation ?? Thanks in advance. Phil.
