  1. Wiring is fine on ballast i think mate however have noticed the wire seems frayed/damaged where the hid wires ( white and blue) connect to headlight wiring. I have not swapped the bulb onto driver side yet as I managed to thread one of the screws for the backing cover. Going to remove it with pliers or drill out and try the new bulb on that side. Also not sure if relevant or not have a fault code for 00991 interior lights short to plus, however all my interior lights seem to be working fine.
  2. I have tried both bulbs as bought as a pair direct from retrofit lab and not working.
  3. Hi fellow briskoda members I am having an issue with some aftermarket headlights i have. They are retrofit lab projectors fitted inside the halogen housing, they have been fitted over a year and been working fine till recently passenger bulb failed. I put in new bulbs but the bulb flickers asif it's trying to power on, ballasts have been swapped around and have been ruled out. Just wondering if anyone could point me in direction as to what else to check next, have checked fuse number 54 and swapped for another one but still no luck.
  4. Personally I would get all the injectors tested , pretty sure you can check for bad injectors on vcds.
  5. Also has your car had the emissions recall done as it is known to reduce injector and egr life and cause other problems.
  6. Here is the link for the injectors you should be buying, also seen two for sale at 180 brand new boxed too. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382703990380
  7. Not 100% sure but when injectors are removed the gaskets have to be changed so if he had all injectors off and never replaced the gaskets that may be the reason other injectors failed too. By the way apparently recon injectors are no good apparently as they cannot be reconditioned, think its around 250 per injector brand new.
