Cheers for the post, shame to hear about the matt / satin finish marking easily, I'll see if my refurber says anything when I speak to them. Currently trying to get some custom VRS badges made which are gloss black and the same bronze on the VII part that the wheels are going. I have some new standard centre caps, but don't really want the silver logo with the bronze, so waiting on some 3d gel black on black wheel centres being made, will post pics if you'd like when I get them.

Yeh it's been a nightmare finding pics, joined a few new groups lately and found some more, including these extremes, not the same colour of course but nice to find some other colors, mine should be getting done in the next few weeks so will keep you posted

Insurance is a good shout, tires are pretty much brand new and not long been serviced sparks and all. Who are people insured with? Most company's don't seem to like remaps that are over 15% increase, and still but have a call back from flux. Not*

If I don't get an answer from super and can't figure it out when I get round to it I'll probably just glue it, did the same on other cars with no issues.

Yeh I was surprised when first looking at the stage 1 performance gains, just figured any minor gains from a catback might as well be had prior to the rolling road / remap 😁

Ah damn, I was hoping that wasn't gonna be the case 😂. I know there is very little in the way of sound deadening in Skodas which won't help, and used to have solid mounts in my old 306 gti-6 but even that wasn't too bad in comparison to some of the threads I've read on here. I'm hoping some other members respond with "it's not too bad" or similar before I order 🤣 thanks for the reply though mate

Thanks for the detailed reply Ads, yeh I've seen yours and Ants and would love to follow suit eventually. For now I think I'll look at the catback for some noise, and initially a stage 1 remap for a nice little increase, I think it's the funds holding me back, I've just ordered full pads, discs, back splash all round, black badges front and back, bonnet struts, dogbone mount and new tires so a fair chunk of change 🤣 Hopefully next year I'll get the downpipe and another remap 😅 not sure I can increase bhp much more than the 320 ish with a manual and original clutch.

Cheers for the reply buddy, that does seem a mental amount of work just to change the badge ! 🤣 There must be something in missing with the badges with the parts, as every website says it's a very quick install, one even says with bumper on. I'll have a pay before removing the existing one l, saw a good guide on here to get the old ones off with dental floss and rubbing alcohol so fingers crossed I figure out a bumper on way of doing it 🤔

Did you manage to get this attached without removing the bumper or resorting to glueing? Kopacek.com and eBay ones have the same plate, nuts and bolts and state “super quick install" so feel we're missing something 😂

To add, I know the 230 has a slightly different exhaust so wondering if still worth the cost
