  2. First time hearing about it. Could you tell something more? I've VCDS
  3. That's exactly what's happening yet nor one person in skoda is acknowledging that issue
  4. Hi all, I'm trying to find out if my coolant expansion tank contains infamous silicat bag and can't seem to find anything on here or even Google search. From my search I've figured out that tank in my car has part number 5WA121407F. All I was able to find was that round type expansion tanks did contain silicat but nothing about this type ot tank. I would be very grateful for any information as I'm planning on changing my coolant and would like to know how to prepare myself for this operation.
  5. It's not any analysis, I'm just telling how I feel getting attacked for something that's not my intention. Them light are there for a reason, they aren't working as they should so I'm looking to get them fixed and asking for solution not for someone's opinion, especially when they talk nonsense.
  6. Yeah but that works for each dual carriageway as per GPS. It is annoying and to counter some people from previous posts that tried to make us look like worse evil - I'm annoyed because I can't use it without blinding other people and that's what I want to avoid
  7. Yes, I have vcds and yes I'm guessing that coding module is required to tell car to dip right instead left lamp, just a problem as to where it is.
  8. So your car is doing it correctly, dipping left lamp not to blind oncoming traffic but keeping side of the road fully lit. In UK it should be the opposite with right lamp dipping and left staying on. Year on and I'm still not any wiser as to how to fix that issue. No help from my local Skoda dealer.
  9. Hi @Gizmo , you can add me to this list too (VCDS HEX+NET and OBD11) Limavady area, Northern Ireland
  10. Does anyone know if you could change it from 3 to 5 blinks using this option? I had it changed on my previous Octavia using ODB11 to 5 flashes and it worked for me, on Superb I didn't had that option on OBD11 but now I could try with VCDS
  11. Here's list that I've followed using VCDS and got it working, only difference is that I've not done adaptation part on A5, only coding (initially had some issues but I'm guessing it was because I was trying to enable it using OBD11 few months ago and must have change something somewhere that was stopping me from enabling it now). Currently everything is working fine with lane assist, just having issue with blind spot (It works and I can enable/disable it on maxidot but I've lost option to enable/disable and adjust brightness on MMI).
  12. So I've managed go get lane assist switched in multicolour display and it works fine (only sitting in wrong order and not sure if there is way of sorting this) but still no joy with lines changing colours between grey/green/orange.
  13. Sorry to coming back to this post again, last time when I was trying to code lane assist using OBD11 I was having issues and only recently bought VCDS. I have it coded now and operational (not sure if fully) but there seems to be some other issues. I can't see option for Lane Assist on multicolour display on cluster to be able to enable/disable it (only ACC, speed limit, side, front and rear assist) also when enabled from options in radio all I have on cluster is orange/green icon on bottom of screen and no lines appear on multicolour part where you setup distance for ACC. Another issue I have is that when I was working with OBD11 I must have somehow disable brightness adjustment for side assist - blind spot on radio. Anyone had similar issues and could help?
  14. I've just coded Lane Assist today and have opposite to you. I have orange/green icon below multicolour screen but lines on multicolour part. It only shows all grey regardless of adaptive lane assist enabled/disabled. This is both with and without ACC on. Also what I've notices that I can only enable it on radio, not on assist menu on speedometer. Coding used is the same as yours
  15. I've spoken to my local skoda dealer and they basically told me they know nothing about it and if that's how they work it must be right. Fair enough I was chatting with women on reception and then she was forwarding it to their technicians (as if they couldn't come to speak with me directly). I'll have to go there soon when I book my car for recall and try to speak with someone more educated.
  16. Hi @Lutz_91 I see your car is pre-facelift so there's plenty info about this but I couldn't find much to go for with FL models like mine.
