Engine oil for Superb mk3 2.0l TSI 2019 DKZA
Hi all, I guess it's not a new topic but I need some reassurance. I've got 0w20 VW508 VW509 in now and I want to move to Mannol 7715 5w30 AC3 Long Life III VW 504 VW507. Dealer of course is not recommending this oil and most of the apps and websites only stating 0w20 as correct oil. Any of you fellow Superb owners have moved from stock oil to 5w30 AC3 without any issues? Manual has no info and I've got no sticker in engine bay with spec for oil so I want to make sure. Many thanks!

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
I'm in Skoda Dealer next week to fix my gearbox in emergency mode ( mechatronic module 1 to be replaced... πΆπ¬) and major service including software update. I already mentioned problem with matrix headlights on motorway and will insist to look into this again.. They seem to have no clue, so as you guys mentioned the only option is to find where in vcds to fix it π

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
I tried to speak to Skoda customer service and my local dealer. I explained the problem but they have only one answer : "bring it in, we will run diagnostic". The thing is, there is no fault, headlights not illuminates left side of the road on the motorway but working great otherwise. If no fault found I will be charged for time spent on car plus using diagnostic π¬ never mind my car is still under warranty... Not nice Skoda.. I think it's one of the things we have to get used to... Good, that I don't use Matrix Led on motorway most of the time...

I agree, Matrix on motorways, especially busy motorways is not a great idea. I hardly use Matrix while on the motorway. I'm always worried that I would dazzle oncoming cars. Unless coming back from work at 3 in the morning and motorway is empty. And then it's annoying that. Matrix doesn't work as it should...

I tried that and swapped RHT and it stayed like that but no difference at all. I will update as soon as I will find out something π

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
I tried on the way to work. Lights are set to RHD/Left hand traffic and no difference. So far it stays, set correctly to Left hand traffic. I guess it must be software issue. I will try to check with Skoda what can be done to put it right π³

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
Ok, so... I can confirm that I'm not as mentally ill as my wife is claiming... I checked before going to pick two creatures from school up and it was set to RHD. Picked tge creatures up and it was still RHD.. Untill I gone under the bridge, lights came on and I checked then - LHD π¬π€¦. I will have a look when I go to work later in evening. Hopefully it will stay set to RHDπ³ It would be boring if everything is working in the car, right? ππ€£

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
Yes, RHD but only in my head. I just checked and it is selected LHD in the car π³π¬I could swear I changed it to RHD when came back from France... π© I need to check for few days as I've seen posts of people who had their Superbs changing it every time they lock their cars... Thanks for pointing this outππ Feel stupid now ππ€ͺ

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
Interesting, need to check this... I might give them a call to double check. Thanks ππ

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
It's set up to LHD so all good. It could be possibly software as on A and B roads working sweet. I might have to contact info line to make sure and book it in to Skoda. Still under Skoda Aproved warranty till end of March....

I would like to see their face once you put full beam on π I would assumed same as you, there are some funny people on the roads... Seen people driving with full beam on all the time despite others trying to warn them... I guess matrix leds it's great technology but still not perfect...

I have noticed that if I am following the car and hardly can see it's lights, my car will hit full beam but as soon as I will get closer it will dip them. I would say it's good reaction time. Obviously human eye is faster than matrix led system but from far distance it should not blind you in the rear mirror. All depends how it's set in infosystem. You can set reaction time from early to late. Maybe that was the reason kn your case. Yes, car knows when I'm on the motorway. I am using Google Maps but sat nav has new maps and WiFi is always on... My issue is that left side of the road should be illuminated fully but it isn't. I was looking through Internet to find this thread but only found one, where they blaming software for it. I wanted to check if anyone else has similar issue before I will press technical info line on the ceiling π

Full Matrix Led headlights on motorway
Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. I recently followed Audi Q7 with matrix leds and his headlights gave massive amount of light to the left side, illuminating trees high up... How your matrix lights are behaving on motorway? Normally I'm not using them on motorway as central barrier could stop system recognising oncoming cars and dazzle them, but late at night would be good to have better visability on the left side of the road...
