Fog lights gap is indeed different left and right and might be to “big” but it is nothing to worry about…

Those gaps are normal. And water drains quckly..which is good. Especialy if you’re living in countries with harsh winters. And i do live in county like that. And…to take advantage on this post, since i see you have led headlights, would you be so kind to make photo of your headlights reflections against a “clear” wall from few meters (5m for example) since im battling with dealer because im unhappy how headlights (changed under warranty) perform on my car. 😁

My karoq has 2.0 tdi engine. I noticed before but didnt ask so far. Did anyone noticed some squeaky/creaky nosie when engine is in warming phase. Seems like its comming from the exhaust. As soon engine get a bit warmer it disaapears. To describe it...its like some spring struggling to move something inside the exhaust.

Since no replies..here are two pics and i will circle what i do think is problematic..right one is having a sort of lines pattern and “shallow” field of lighting. Dont know better explanation. Been to the dealer, no response regarding warranty. And its annoying when driving at night. Any opinions?

Just to share my suspicion that cold weather may do hidden damage to your car. Noticed this “swell” on the bottom od driver’s (lhd) side door..looks like some water got trapped inside, got frozen at the bottom and caused this. Since i have no other explanation for this “swell”.

A bit of topic: i deeply regret for being lazy and didnt bought hood protection against grit. Here theyre spreading it like crazy and stones already made damages. Its like driving a rally in Morroco.

In my country theres usually a lot of snow during winter. Didnt have any issues driving in the snow. Car doesnt have driving mode selector, just winter tires and goes like charm. Tires are dunlop wintersport 5.

To liven up old topic...would anyone be so kind to take photo of LED headlights reflection (lets say, parked against wall at 2-3 m distance). As i mentioned in the post abovie, since they replaced original ones, lights are not (maybe im just a bit OCD) as good as they were. Brightness and sharpness seems different. I just want to compare and see do i have a reason to bother with dealer again. Right one especially have some odd pattern or im just obessesed.

Long story short..i have full led headlights which were replaced under warranty due to famous cracks. After instalation they did calibration and adjustment. And i was unhappy with results od adjustment. Beams were ....well strange (verticaly and horizontaly), asked them to adjust them again..same story. Freakin fog light are way off (left one seems fine, right one is aiming to the skies), same is with low beam. Left one to low, right one is to high. I know there should be “difference” between them (to prevent blinding) but these are way off. Does anybody has “scheme” how they should be adjusted horizontaly and verticaly?

I think description you have provided is actually yellow plastic screws. Im just wondering about metal ones, what they are for.

I dont want to open new thread...quick question..front led headlights..anybody know whats the purpose of these “screws”?

Me also..rubbish instalation....its easy to put them back but as soon as someone sit they pop up...just remove them and put them back on if you decide to sell your car 😂

By far, best color for Karoq. Have metallic black, it does fit the car nicely..this one is better.

Those covers are rubbish anyway...whenever someone heavier than 25 kg sits, they pop up and whatever you do they will pop up..for us (with mild OCD 😂) theyre annoying

Just out of curiosity...my headlights have replaced under warranty due to some cracks..but after replacement right headlight have sort of a “pattern” beam..left seems very solid and bright. Can anybody post a photo of their headlights reflection on the wall maybe just to compare. Right one as i said is somehow odd compared to original light which were crystal clear and without any “patterns”. Before anyone asks they did “calibration” after replacemenet...is there any calibration that needs to be done or they just ment height adjustment of the beam.
