Hi folks im looking for some help in identifying a part number, I have electric seats on drivers side, a torx head bolt has broken off I believe it may be a screw and nut, the arm from the seat is a torx head and the hole on the seat base is much smaller diameter, I have got the seat diagram but I can't find the correct part on the diagram, any help would be truly appreciated

Hi All I recently got my car back from my mechanic, I asked him to remove all for lock nuts as I did not have the key, and he also had to replace the clutch and flywheel Since I have had the work done the automatic handbrake isn't working, when I press the handbrake the green symbol does not come on the dash and the car doesn't hold, I will be bringing the car back next week got any ideas I can try in the meantime Thanks

A cheap fix and genuine part

Today I had the pleasure of leaving my 2016 superb with 168.000 into my mechanic, the flywheel came loose the other night awful noise and clutch didn't stick but became very soft and slow to return on a gear change, the next morning it was perfect the flywheel knocked itself back into position, So my mechanic has told me it's €980 for clutch/flywheel/pressure plate and baring and gearbox oil, Not exactly what I need right now but needs must, My mechanic who specializes in German cars has told me the start stop system on the superb is a clutch and starter killer, so once this is done I will never use that system again

I was on to the supplier this morning and thankfully they were understanding and agreed to cancel the order, the list of stuff that Jr rs mentioned above is both helpful and scary, i would be handy enough with a spanner and a haynes manual 😂 but the amout of stuff needed and the problems it could cause along the way are just not worth it, ill invest in a set of good phlips bulbs, so sofar ive bought obdeleven pro, mats car and boot, new headunit and it will be going for a €650 3 day detail and ceramic coating, i think upgraded interior and boot lights will be it, I really wanted to 2019 sportline model but i wasnt gonna go outside my budget

Whats the deal with xenon's and washer's? I know it might be a silly question but i honestly dont know, Plus NCT lads will fail a car for the smallest thing, i don't fancy having to retrofit a washer set up too 🤯

Id be the same ill put it up online and i have a sony xav-ax100 from my passat, so between the 2 of them it will take the sting out of buying the new one lol

I think i might have to abandon the idea, i thought it would be a swap out and a bit of wirings, Hopefully the lad i purchased off of will allow me to cancel the order on flea bay, i only purchased today
