Door open Warning lights
Maybe not a solution, but I have a regular Octavia 1,5TSI from 2020 (manufactured 2019/09) and normal bulbs in the doors. I switched them for the white LEDs with "Octavia" written on the ground when opened (from SuperSkoda) and they are working perfect without any coding or anything. Maybe the LEDs are defect in some way that you got from SuperSkoda?

Traffic Sign Recognition Issue
teamt84: Have had the same done to my Octavia 3 FL MY20 (1,5TSI DSG). I have Amundsen and Lane Assist from factory. A friend of mine did the coding via OBDeleven. It was rather tricky, (sadly I don’t know exactly what he did) but in the end it worked with no error codes, so it is possible! But I think it’s awkward with the fusion mode, it will often change the displayed speed limit to the one from the satnav. I get that it’s good to do so if it can’t detect a road sign, but if I drive by a 40-sign, it displays 40, but seconds later from nowhere it adjust itself to 50, without passing a new sign. That’s irritating. But I guess that’s just how it’s supposed to work if the camera and satnav isn’t consistent. Hope that you work it out, without any errors!

Winter is coming!
Hello (hej) hansen1! A fellow swede here! Always have had studded Nokian-tires before, but almost everyone I spoke to preferred the studless versions. So, I had to try it for myself this time. Here in Skåne it’s rarely bad winterroads where I drive. I know that narrower tires is better in snow, but I like the look with 17” wheels and wider tires, so I bought 225/45R17 Nokian WR Snowproof on Dezent TA-rims. Last winter was the first I had these wheels, and they worked great in the mild winter that was. Nice steel rims you got! And - is it Michelin tires you use? Ha det!

Post your Mk3 Octavia photos!
Not a picture of the complete car, but the cleaned enginebay instead. 😀 Also the newly installed hood dampers and the lid for the washerfluid. 👌 I am really happy how it looks now. 😊

LED footwell-light too bright - code via OBD11?
I looked at a youtube-video of a 2019 Octavia, and it had regular T10 bulbs in the footwell-compartment - but I have a sealed version! That´s why I bought completely new from aliexpress instead of installing Osram-leds. The closest one is from my boot - possible to change only the bulb (and the other one is from front and rear footwell compartment): Even the contacts is different: If I could use normal T10 led-bulbs in the footwell, I could just bought a bulb with less light, but now I don´t have that oppertunity. 😕 /B284

LED footwell-light too bright - code via OBD11?
ExSEAT: Thanks for your reply! I used Osram in the ceiling (these: https://www.diodhuset.se/osram-led-retrofit-w5w-6000k-cool-white) But still, glows a little. 😕 In the footwell, did you put Osram there as well? How did you manage that? The original are sealed, so difficult to change just the bulb, isn´t it?

LED footwell-light too bright - code via OBD11?
Hi! I have a MY20 Octavia estate 1,5 TSI DSG. I bought from AliExpress these LED-lights to put in the footwells front and back plus in the boot. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32791071534.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.1c2f7a2flxnigx&algo_pvid=df528326-b285-49ce-9521-d25e8b96d1b1&algo_expid=df528326-b285-49ce-9521-d25e8b96d1b1-0&btsid=0ab6f82315977461004262767e4930&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ Everything works fine (tough to get them to fit... very tight fit but after grinding them down and so on, they did fit) altough my question: In the footwells they shine TOO bright. I can adjust them in the infotainment, but i assume because they are LED, they doesn´t use that much power, so the "steps" to adjust the light is too narrow. The least bright is too bright, if you understand. Does anyone know if it´s possible to code via ODB11 (my friend have one, I dont) so the car knows it´s LED that´s fitted? I would like them to shine very little when driving, just like the originals with halogen bulbs. Much nicer light with LEDs! Not the yellowish tint anmore. (I also switched the one in the door to the ones from superskoda with ghost-light, and the pedals and footrest to more sporty-ones) Also, another question - I switched all T10 interioer lights to LED, but now when the car is locked, the glow a little? They turn completely off if I switch the interior-light-switch to OFF, and when I drive they are off, but when parked they glow. Is this possible to fix? Sorry for my swedish-english. 😛 Thanks in advance! Regards Björn

Skoda Connect?
I´m on my first free year with Skoda Connect - and use it to remotly start the Webasto-heater (when the remote/car is too far away). And rarely check the remaining fuel (if I have to go upp early and fill the tank), check so I haven´t forgot to lock the car and so on. So I think i continue to pay for it after the first free year.
