  1. Yes 19” breyton LS2 they give the car such a muscular look, it’s great!
  2. thanks for your recommendation I have fitted the chrome strips and they look perfect! they have some problem with remaining stick onto the body though so may I ask did you apply glue to the surface for it to stick hard?
  3. Very lovely! mind sharing which specific chrome trim with the L shape lip you got on AliExpress? The ones I found so far are u shaped tight fitting ones
  4. Hi mate how did you get the chrome bits in on the doors and the tail lights! Amazing!
  5. I’m looking for the 19” anthracite Vega wheels. Superskoda sells the Aero Vega wheels, not nice looking IMO they do sell 20” Anthracite Vega wheels but.. 20” too big
  6. I’ve been searching online for a parts seller that will ship to Asia (specifically Singapore) the Vega 19” rims but most only does deliveries around UK Really love those rims but unfortunately Sportline trim is not sold in Singapore Anyone knows a shop that will be able to ship to Singapore?
  7. My car is totally stock
  8. If there are manufacturing defects in the turbo, there will definitely be performance issues right? Error codes and lack of boosting. Mine has no performance issues nor error codes
  9. Wow I don’t need a remap and I get this turbo noise lol I have no idea why it is the way it is. I don’t have boost problems, no power loss, everything is smooth. It’s just this louder than normal high pitch noise that takes away my enjoyment of the Superb
  10. The noise has stayed mostly the same volume however on certain days it is more quiet. I can’t pin point if there is a correlation between the sound volume with a hot/cold ambient condition. On certain days it just softens alot you can hear it build up from the lower range with the high pitch sound volume peaking at 1800rpm. Once past 1800rpm the pitch does not sound jarring at all engine oil consumption seems normal
  11. Please take a listen at the clip, what do you guys feel it is? Always around the 1800rpm mark. Beyond or above that, no high pitch It’s a new car that I took delivery of last year. Since day 1 it has this whine. This clip was taken last month IMG_3247.MP4
  12. It sometimes gets loud, like a audible wailing siren. Sometimes it’s soft and not so annoyingly high pitch. Can’t figure it out, was just wondering if this is a characteristic of turbo or TSI engines. Them demo cars that I tested does not seem to have this wailing siren noise but they just cannot find anything wrong with the car. and if there is nothing wrong that they can find, the dealership will not replace the turbo under warranty... bugger...
  13. Hi, I’ve tried in vain to solve this annoying whistling sound on my 1 year old Superb since day 1. It always happens at 1800rpm range regardless of stationary or car moving. It’s rather loud. SKODA has maintained that this is a result of the turbo spool, but do turbos spool when there is no load? The whistle peaks at 1800 rpm regardless of whether the car is moving or not. It has happened since day 1, and there is no boost loss whatsoever. Can it be just one of those unlucky purchases where I get a faulty turbo but no error codes are present until it goes bust???
  14. Edit: finally a response from them! Sorting it out...
  15. Icic its very unlike SS to not return emails. It’s been a week to the date of ordering. Despite email queries on the dispatch date there is no reply at all. Shall wait awhile more then
  16. You mean this Friday?
  17. It’s been a week and the item is still not dispatched but the $$$ is already charged to my credit card! Anyone knows what is the hotline? The number listed on their website doesn’t work!
  18. Hi guys any of you purchased any thing recently from SuperSkoda.com? I purchased an item last Friday but up till now still not dispatched. They are usually not this late. Emailed them also no response. Very uncharacteristic of them. Holidays now in Czech Republic?
  19. Hi all it’s been 2 months and I’m still having the same problem. Does anyone know if start stop function does not work after many short trips? It seems to be the case for me.. always this “operating temperature not maintained” pops up after around 4 short drives each 15 minutes in a day
  20. I’m located in the tropics where it’s hot all year round The start stop function works fine at the start of the day when I go to work in the morning but as I drive the car frequently over the course of the day (I’m in sales so I do a fair bit of running around), the start stop function stops working suddenly in the later part of the day and the message is always “Operating Temperature Not Maintained” My understanding users this pertains to the engine temperature not being warmed up? But it’s been driven around and surely the engine is kept warmed up enough Could the message point to other areas not being maintained at operating temperature? Turbo charger maybe? Or some component is overheating?
