  1. National, when you want to sell it give me a message! Sold mine in December due to the Covid situation with work and have wanted one since!
  2. No. 007 - on 68k in Northumberland. Completely standard. Drives likes it has just come out of the factory...
  3. Hi all, is there any difference between a Fabia vrs limited edition and special edition. i know the special edition should have leather seats with blue piping, sunset glass and be blue of course. Does it say special edition on the v5? im guessing when I put the reg into a insurance website they will confirm it is a special edition spec.. is there anyway to check the seat numbers ‘match with the car? I.e is there another identification plate? im looking at buying a SE and wanted to make sure it had the right seats in...and hadn’t been swopped for a lower seat number. Or had limited edition seats put in if they are also numbered.
  4. Update.first electrical issues was the onboard command module. Central locking was in transport mode due to the new command module installation. injector two had failed at the same time so was replaced. Fuel gauge and temperature gauge was a problem with the speedo. Sent it to Cartronix’s who fixed it and returned it within two days and now it is fine. They also give you a lifetime warranty in case it happens again too. They were really good. swift motor engineering vw specialist at westerhope Newcastle were really good with all their time problem solving and diagnosing and customer service was great. I’ve used them before and would again.
  5. Hi all, I have a Skoda fabia mk2 2010 1.6tdi 75000miles. 2 months ago the windows stopped working for an hour then miraculously worked. 6 weeks ago I opened the car on the fob and set off, (after really heavy rain, not sure if this matters).. Shortly After I realised the indicators weren’t working, screenwash function, hazard warning lights, electric windows, interior light, radio and central locking were also not working. The diagnostics port was also not responding to obd2 readers. fuses checked and all ok so I put it into a local garage. 5 weeks later they diagnosed a faulty command module. Success! all items were operational apart from the windows and central locking. I asked the garage to check the doors for water ingress but they didn’t find any signs of this. the battery then died overnight. local garage then spoke to vag specialist who insisted it need the central locking programming to the new module or something along those lines. however, when trying to program the Central locking the fuel gauge has gone faulty, the exterior temperature gauge only reads -22 and it says there is a misfire on cylinder two, injector failure and it is now in limp mode. All of these things were pay before hand. The central locking will open but not lock! I’ve spent a lot of money so far and I’m looking for a point in the right direction. i don’t see how the injector can fail after central locking programming and the other items. im assuming there is another module playing up somewhere?
