  1. Hi, new guy here I purchased a 66 plate Superb SE L Executive 150 TDI hatchback as approved used from Skoda dealer 6 weeks ago. Overall very pleased with the car, quite a change from my MK7 Golf GTI ! 2K miles covered, and I have two issues which I need to address: 1) The chrome trim on top of drivers door is catching the rear door top trim, it seems quite a common issue on earlier Superb's from what I read. Closer inspection and trim removal shows what looks like the whole upper door seal has moved 'backwards' towards the rear door. I have read on here that owners have had new seals fitted. My question is anyone had this issue sorted sorted under extended approved used Skoda warranty? My cars factory warranty ended in October 2019, but I have approved used Skoda warranty. I guess as it is a trim issue will not be covered now? Anyone know the cost of replacement if not under warranty? This issue is messing with my OCD and needs sorting before it gets worse I did not notice this issue when I viewed the car, only in the past week has the trim catching started to occur. 2) Again well documented on here, an annoying rattle top centre of the dash over certain road surfaces happens, possibly from the large centre metal grill above the air vents towards the windscreen is the cause. Anyone had managed to remove this grill and fix the rattle? Is the grill easy to remove? My two closest main Skoda dealers are Bristol Street Skoda Darlington and Derek Slack in Middlesbrough if this is relevant. Thanks all Mike
