  1. Pefect, thank you. I sourced and installed it so all good 👍 Feel much better having a spare tyre in the car for when we go to remote locations
  2. I've now received and mounted the cover, so all done :) Thanks for the tips everyone
  3. Exactly, that's the part I purchased. Link
  4. My new-to-me Octavia Estate from 2018 came with an empty storage unit in the boot. I'm looking to get the original set which I suspect includes a jack plus accessories. Can anyone enlighten me with the correct part number for said set? Cheers
  5. Exactly, we're jumping between two different things 🙂 I've got the foam inserts in place, and the cover is on its way so all good. Gas struts sure sound nice, but I'm in the engine bay so rarely it doesn't make sense to spend the money on it... at least not yet
  6. I ended up ordering this one from AliExpress. It's not the same, but I'm guessing it's not an essential item https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003652162795.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.11.41761802To0dTr
  7. Parts arrived and were super easy to mount. The foam stopper just had double sided tape and sits very securely. I couldn't find a cover for the entire battery on skoda-parts.com, but at least bought the missing cover for the negative terminal. Thanks for the help everyone, much obliged!
  8. Excellent, many thanks. Have ordered that plus a battery cover
  9. Good to know. Is it the top part only that's missing? Have attached a picture of the entire engine bay
  10. No, I didn't realise that actually. Have attached a picture of the side of the missing seal where it looks like it's been ripped off
  11. I bought a new-to-me Octavia estate from 2018, and noticed that one of the engine bay foam ends (not sure of the proper name) is missing. I think it's there to prevent debris from entering the engine bay, and as I live in the countryside I very much want it in place. I've attached a picture with an arrow to the one that is still seated. Any idea what this part is called so that I can order a replacement? Many thanks
  12. I got myself a 2006 Fabia earlier this year, and am now looking to upgrade the distinctively retro cassette player radio. Looking to for a basic single-stack bluetooth stereo - we don't have any physical media and plan to play directly from both iPhone and Android. Don't need any navigation or other bells an whistles. Suggestions of what I should look at? Thanks
