Hey guys i own an skoda octavia 1.8 tsi 2010, the car was running great untill few days back, the car started to spark knock under heavy load like 4th gear acceleration, the car has been remaped to stage 2, ive been using regular 87 octane fuel. It seem to knock between 2-3k rpm when under load on anything above 3rd gear. Its sounds definitely like a spark knock and only does it when its under boost. I can hear the boost building up and then it spark knocks. Ive tried gas from different petrol stations but the result is always the same. I am attaching a youtube link in which the car knocks exactly like mine does. Please shed some light on it. Thank you. https://youtu.be/10CrEDc0F_0

Hello guys, i am an owner of skoda octavia 2 1.8 tsi 2010. It has done 95000kms. The car is running great, has good compression, all the cylinders over 185psi. My problem is that it is consuming oil, 1 liter at 1500kms and when the car is standing still and i rev it, black smoke comes out of the exhaust (there is a code for turbo underboost p0299 which i think is diverter valve), not very much visible, but can barely capture in a mobile video. My question is since it is a gen 2 tsi and ive read many people having problem with oil consumption, what is considered normal oil consumption in these engines. And what kind of oil consumption you guys are dealing with the ea888 gen2? I really want to keep the car, i bought it a few months ago. If there is some serious problem that needs to be addressed ill sell the car. Thank you.

What about the cam bridge ? If the screen on this this goes, its unable to supply enough oil to the camshafts. This part in the picture -
