  1. So, my mid muffler and rear muffler have reached the end of the road and I'm having trouble finding OEM parts here in Sweden. I did reach out to a company that makes stainless systems for different brands but they only have the 1.8 20V(https://rakaror.o.se/RostfrittavgassystemSkodaOctavia1_8_20v.html) listed, not the 1.8 vRS. I'm assuming the size of the exhaust is different one being a turbo and the other one NA? They also have the 1.9 TDI(https://rakaror.o.se/RostfrittavgassystemSkodaOctavia1-9Turbodieselkatalysator.html) listed. The person I talked to from the company speculated I could potentially use the middle part from the 1.8 20V and the rear muffler from the TDI one? Any inputs appreciated.
  2. I bought a pair of OSRAM XENARC COOL BLUE INTENSE D2S. Not any no-name cheap stuff afaik. Gonna re-check the fault code as I don't have it in my head, but when googling it last time there was a few suggestions about a possible bad earthing point.
  3. Can anyone point me to the right headlight(low beam) earth point? My right xenon bulb sometimes work, sometimes not. Usually if I switch on and off the lights it works again, but rather annoying anyhow. This is a LHD 2003 Mk1 vRS.
  4. I'm not based in the UK(Sweden) so that limits my options. Thanks!
  5. Late reply, I know, can anyone confirm this pump fits a MK1 vRS petrol 2004? https://www.ebay.com/itm/164345682767?itmmeta=01J0R0RBNWR0JHMCENZG58HTRE&hash=item2643c41b4f:g:tOUAAOSw4RZbDmrS&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8OuAYiHGEUwPNaEr7lg%2BK6HFOgHwEXFPwunYwLE7L10%2FErVRoTo%2BXVBL3miUkx94xQlW%2B3J3kQP5k7ArDlryi9vn3I7sNYiIJhnjvxqytbEiRklshYQ3DhaUqCekNGjWXMnzBRJhc8TgxWiNfw3q5RLrxwQBxB1JV8pGPePQsGoRZbAMPiYjHwnXnB2usS8Q8DNofxjyi6nK6sTFSID1TFT4JGIM%2FXz0JChGgJUXOewVTMNk2IvMDJ5yyrEmXkFcmg22utbNJIC8dIUWt2XyPdTso3SA2xjfCqPY4LUSXGY3KoQbVXwQixlZzdkqYCI28w%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4a74YCGZA
  6. Thanks! Where is the SAI located? Is it a hassle to deal with if wanting to check for a split hose?
  7. Did a new recording. Still, its more noticeable to the ears than the phone, but I think you can hear it okay here, esp when the RPM drops after 30 seconds or so. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cmf2PP9Brs7ZfqRMHPipfMpoTSOuel63/view?usp=drivesdk
  8. The video doesn't really do it justice so it doesn't pick it up that well, but you should still hear the massive difference when the rev drops in the last seconds of the video.
  9. Ah, sorry, it must have expired. I've made it public now, try again please πŸ™‚
  10. Maybe, but should it not be there all the time if so? Unless it goes away when temperature goes up slightly. I read somewhere about a secondary air intake that is active at startup, would fit as it disappears when revs drop.
  11. Ofcourse, there was no channel 115 but I just searched for Boost pressure and it showed up far down the list.
  12. My Mk1 vRS is making a high pitched squeeky noise when starting each morning. Always disappear within a minute when the rev drop from 1200 to 1000. At first I thought it was a belt issue but not sure about that. Not sure how much you hear it on the recording, but IRL it's quite an annoying sound πŸ˜… Video link - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bSR-g64eOTbo9PRTO2u_t6fl_v_3dmr0/view?usp=drivesdk
  13. Thanks mate, I found it in the end. Although, another issue appeared. It stops reading the values after a few seconds, like it loses connection, then resumes. Not a huge issue when watching live data, but recording charts doesn't work when the reading is interrupted.
  14. So, I want to check actual vs requested boost pressure which is usually done on channel 115 in the obdeleven app. The problem is, there is no channel 115 when I check live data or try to make charts. If I use the same obd device on my 2004 vRS I find it and can log, but not when I plug it in my Octavia vRS 2015. Any ideas?
  15. So I did a stage1 map on my 2015 Octavia VRS TSI a while back and noticed something slightly strange. I understand that ultimately I need to go back to the company responsible but just wanted see if anybody in here have any similar experiences. When powering out on a highway fΓΆr example, the car stops responding for a fraction of a second just over 3k RPM. What makes it more strange is that it only does this in 'normal' driving mode, in Economy and Sport it does not behave this way. As far as I know there arent any differences between these modes other than throttle response and sound actuator. If something is off in the mapping it should surely affect all driving modes?
