Small issue after Stage1 map.

Featured Replies

So I did a stage1 map on my 2015 Octavia VRS TSI a while back and noticed something slightly strange. I understand that ultimately I need to go back to the company responsible but just wanted see if anybody in here have any similar experiences.

When powering out on a highway för example, the car stops responding for a fraction of a second just over 3k RPM. What makes it more strange is that it only does this in 'normal' driving mode, in Economy and Sport it does not behave this way. As far as I know there arent any differences between these modes other than throttle response and sound actuator.

If something is off in the mapping it should surely affect all driving modes?

with tht different mods, the speed the engin revs is also changed as well as the dsg settings if you are in automatic. The steering wheel stiffness and when the ac kicks in.

I would go bask to the shop that remaped your car to have it checked.
