Hi all,
I am now the proud owner of a mk1 Skoda Fabia 2006 classic with the 1.2 HTP 6v engine.
I have a few questions about the car and engine as I have not owned one of these models / engines before.
First of all I am wondering about fuel economy - is 30 mpg good for careful round town driving? I am not really going hard on it and doesn't seem to change no matter how I drive, on the motorway at 65mph I get about 37 mpg. I read online I should be getting about 50?
I scanned the car and these fault codes were stored:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!

Component: SIMOS91 1.2l 2V 1413

16514 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1:
P0130 - 009 - Malfunction in Circuit - Intermittent
Readiness: N/A

Next is when the engine is idling, it seems to 'hunt about' for the idle rpm. Usually between 800 and 1100 rpm over about 3 seconds repeating until I set off then when I stop again it may or may not do it.
This might be normal but just thought I'd check.
Finally is the interior, none of the front windows work. I haven't had a look but was told the actual door motors work but it is just an electrical fault. Is this common / sound like an easy fix?
Thanks all for any help,
Ethan
