  1. Morning all, Require some help if possible please.... Have a 2017 VRS Diesel which has covered 155k now. It had the dreaded dmf noise at start up like a bag of spanners until clutch depressed. So went ahead with my mate who has looked.after this car for 5 years and changed the clutch and duel mass flywheel... Got the car back yesterday and it's not right. It doesn't have the noises at start up anymore and would be fixed apart from the dredded juddering at between 1500 -2000rpm especially at high gear under acceleration. The car was remapped some years ago with no issues around the 50k mark. The clutch / dmf are pattern parts from Europarts, my mate also removed the parts and replaced them with another from Europarts incase the clutch was faulty! (Sonit has two yesterday but still the issue) Any help would be appreciated all Thanks Garry
  2. Yes manual, was getting 48.8 over the last 2500 miles in standard setup, so was hoping / expecting something near or slightly better after remap.
  3. Cheers Bob, exactly what im after. Looks like its not too far out then. Does drive lovely too πŸ‘, if i can get 48 to 50 then will be happy as i do 50 miles a day
  4. Cheers, yes i would agree with you Glad someone else with an actual remap has replied on thisπŸ‘ I am getting around the 45 mark now, but not being right toe happy.
  5. Let us know how it goes πŸ‘ Now getting 44mpg
  6. Been told that the fuel system is re setting. Full tank of fuel then should settle down and be where it should be. Insurance Β£45 extra and extra Β£200 excess, (gone to 300) not to bad. Will let you know after another week.
  7. πŸ‘ may well do, just want to see what others are getting mpg wise
  8. Thought it was bad! πŸ™ˆ
  9. Hi i had a AVON stage 1 remap last week (220bhp) and has anyone else getting v.poor mpg?. Thought it should be roughly the same afterwards??. Happy with the performance but mpg gone down from 48.8mph average to 37mpg! With the Same sort of driving, giving it some on parts but also 'normal' driving too. Thinking of getting it put back to standard as i do 50/60 miles a day. Thoughts please, would this be normal Cheers jim
  10. perfect cheers for the info, that's what I was after someone who has had it done for a while
  11. ok will do, emailed AVON TUNNING anyone used them on here?
  12. makes sense that, re-map plus rolling road is the way to be sure what you are getting. cheers lads
  13. HI thanks for the reply, not that im to bothered on the 0-60 difference just curious if there was much of a difference between stock / remap? but i guess not. The diesel is deffo a great car and i'm well past the kicking the tyres stage lol I get that it will have more driveability which is great , but I would like to here from somebody who has had this done for a while to see if any reliability issues has occurred etc over time many thanks all
