No I just took off the covers to see if they the timing looked out before I bought any sensors, it won’t start at all now.

Ah, ok so you can’t tell if it is massively out of timing from the picture? thanks for your help.

Hello, so I have owned my Octavia mk2 1.4tsi for a couple of years now without any problems at all, however last month my water pump failed and leaked water all over the driveway, having fitted a new pump and belt, soon after driving it the eml came on and the code P0016 came up. I have taken a photo of the cams from the cover side on the right, is this badly out of time? many thanks for any advice. Toby
