  1. Thanks mate, I will try it out tomorrow to pump it out and check where it is getting hanged on, inside is mehle filter which has little ridges at the bottom of it. I will let you guys know how it went and do vcds test also. The motor is 2.0TDI 110kw forgot to mention.
  2. Hi guys, sorry for a silly question but I wanted to double check as I couldnt find anything else on the internet regarding this. I was changing the filters today and everything went smooth except the fuel filter. I unscrewed and opened the lid. I started to slowly taking it out but it got stuck halfway, I just couldnt take it out, I used a little force to pull it out also wiggling it, rotating and pulling at the same time but it just wasnt coming out. On the videos regarding this fuel filter and also on other cars it was always just slight pull without any force and it goes out. I didnt wanted to damage anything so I just placed it back and didnt replace it with the new one. So my question is, has someone met with this? Should I just try it to rip it out and nothing will damage? Is there any trick to this? Thanks for every input on this really appreciate it.
  3. SKODA Superb III 3V0 3V1863077 should be ashtray enclosure, but instead of ashtray there should be phone compartment.
  4. I have drove on a the highway and the ambient temp was around 26 degrees. I was driving 130-140KM/h with adaptive tempomat, AC ON, and the oil temp was between 100-105degrees When I drive to work, the car is above 80-90degrees even before 15miles. So far what I have noticed it takes me less than 7miles to warmp up the engine. When I drive to work, I am driving at 80km/h between the cities and 60km/h in the cities. So far I havent noticed the oil temp to go over 92degrees. So I guess it is ok. Thank you guys for every info you have posted and explanations it helped a lot to understand, I am quite new to the superb but I want to get better and take a really good care of it So as you guys said, it does look normal. But I will take the car to the service and ask them to check and change the oils and coolants so the car is fresh 😉
  5. Hi guys, I have a question which bugs me. This weekend I was visiting my sister which is 250km away from me. I took my superb on a nice trip. The car went beautifully and I made it without stop on one take. The thing is, that after I came to the destination I have checked the digital oil temperature and it was saying 102Celsius. I was immediately surprised, as far as I know the oil temp should be MAX 90 degrees. The needle of oil temperature on dash was straight at 90degrees. So I am confused here a little bit, needle show 90 but the digital oil temp show 102-105 degrees. Today when I was going to work, the oil temp was at 90-92 max. Also I have noticed that often times the needle shows 90degrees but the digital oil temp is still only on 70degrees. Does anyone know why the oil temp went so high? All of my mates told me that it never should happen even when I am on driveway and running over 2k RPM (2200 to be specific) the motor is 2.0TDI. It makes me worry. Every help and advice is appreciated, Thank you guys
  6. Attached the photo of serial number if someone will find that useful. I am contacting official skoda. I will let you guys know
  7. Sorry guys for the delay, some stuff happened and I was not online for few days. However, I have contacted the SKODA dealer regarding this and he told me they cant find it. They also told me that I should ask the SKODA directly if they have part like this available. I will let you guys know where and how to purchase it, also the price as I want to participate in this forum as well with some information. If I get my hands on it, I will probably make a how to guide. Thank you guys for your inputs
  8. Hi guys, recently I have purchase my superb 17 plate in bussiness package. I have noticed that when I open the compartment where the usb port is, I have there an ashtray. My friend has there a phone compartment instead of ashtray. It even does charge the phone wirelessly. I dont need the wireless charging but the compartment for the phone looks really neat. Is there a way to replace that ashtray for the phone tray? Anyone has done this before? Also, would the dealer be able to sell me one of those ? I have stumbled upon one, but it says it is for KAROQ. Would it fit? Thank you really much for the answers, I am sorry but I am quite new to the skoda world and just getting to know all the things about this beautiful car.
